Chart work that belongs to no single unit. Each module ends with a clinic that puts everything that module taught onto one chart at the same time — which is the only way to find out whether you can actually use it.
How a Chart Clinic works
Seven steps, every time. The order matters more than it looks: the fourth step is the one most people skip, and skipping it is how a reading becomes a story you tell yourself.
- Observation — the plain chart fact, with no interpretation attached yet.
- Principle — the specific BPHS rule that applies, with its chapter and verse.
- Supporting evidence — what else in the chart backs this reading.
- Contradicting evidence — what argues against it. Go looking. Do not wait to notice.
- Interpretation — your conclusion, given both sides.
- Confidence — strong, moderate, weak, or uncertain.
- Reflection — if it did not match, what does that tell you: about the rule, the chart data, or your use of it?
