66. RESULTS OF ANTARDASAS IN THE KALACHAKRA DASA SYSTEM

जगद्धिताय प्रोक्तानि पुरा यानि पुरारिणा ।
तानि चक्रान्तरदशाफलानि कथयाम्यहम् ॥ १ ॥

1 : Sage Parasara said - Lord Shiva recited the one before Goddess Parvati in the ancient time, I am now going to perorate the results of the Antardasas of the same Kalachakra Dasa.

Dasa Years in Aries Amsa

Method of computing Antardasas of Aries sign in Aries Amsa:

Dasa years of Aries be multiplied by the Dasa years of Aries and the product be then divided by the total years of Aries Amsa i.e. 100. The resultant will indicate the Antardasa years of Aries (Mars).

Example : 88

(This Antardasa will hold good for Scorpio sign also, as Mars is also the lord of Scorpio).

Similarly, if we are required to find out the Antardasa of Venus (Taurus or Libra) in Aries Amsa, it will work out as follows :

A constant multiplyer is 7/100 = 0.07 which be applied to find out the Antardasas of other signs (lords) in Aries Amsa. Let us take next signs Gemini and Virgo who have a common lord viz; Mercury.

The Antardasas of Aries Amsa as computed above have been shown in a tabular form as per Table-33.

मेषांशे स्वान्तरे भौमे ज्वरश्च ब्रणसम्भवः ।
बुधशुक्रेन्दुजीवेषु सुखं शत्रुभयं रवौ ॥ २ ॥

2 : In the Dasa of ARIES Amsa : The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause fever and injuries. The Antardasas of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo), Venus (Taurus-Libra), Moon (Cancer) and Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will bring forth happiness. The Antardasa of the Sun (Leo) will produce danger from the enemies.

वृषांशे स्वान्तरे सौरे कलहो रोगसम्भवः ।
विद्यालाभस्तनौ सौख्यं गुरौ तत्र गते फलम्‌ ॥ ३ ॥

देशत्यागो मृतिर्वापि शस्त्रघातो ज्वरोऽथवा ।
वृषभस्वांशके विप्र ! कुजे तत्र गते फलम्‌ ॥ ४ ॥

वस्त्राभरणलाभश्च स्त्रीसुयोगो महत्‌ सुखम्‌ ।
शुक्रेन्दुसुत्त-चन्द्रेषु वृषभस्वांशके फलम्‌ ॥ ५ ॥

नृपाद्‌ भयं पितृमृतिः स्ववदाद्यैर्भयं रवौ।

3-5½ : In the Dasas of TAURUS Amsa : The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) causes disputes and diseases, the Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will give effect to gain the education and physical comforts. The Antardasa of Mars (Aries- Scorpio) will result in desertion of the country or death, assault by the weapons and fever. The Antardasa of Venus (Taurus-Libra), Mercury (Gemini-Virgo), the Moon (Cancer) will confer acquisition of clothes, Jewellery, woman (wife) and great happiness. The Antardasa of the Sun (Leo) will cause danger from the king and ferocious animals and demise of father.

मिथुने स्वांशके शुक्रे धनवस्त्रसमागमः ॥ ६ ॥

पिततृमातृमृतेर्भीतिर्ज्वरश्च व्रणसम्भवः ।
दूरदेशप्रयाणं च मिथुने स्वांशके कुजे ॥ ७ ॥

6-7 : in the Dasa of GEMINI Amsa : The Antardasa of Venus (Taurus-Libra) will confer gain of wealth, clothes. The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause fear of death of the father and mother and possibility of fever, injuries and visit to a distant country.

बुद्धि-विद्या-विवृद्धिश्व महाविभवसम्भव: ।
लोके मानश्च प्रीतिश्च मिथुने स्वांशके गुरै ॥ ८ ॥

विदेशगमनं व्याधिर्मरणं धननाशनम्‌ ।
बन्धुनाशोऽथवा विप्र ! मिथुने स्वांशके शनो ॥ ९ ॥

विद्यावस्त्रादिलाभश्च दारपुत्रादिजं सुखम्‌ ।
सर्वत्र मानमाप्नोति मिथुने स्वांशके बुधे ॥ १० ॥

8-10 : In the Dasa of GEMINI Amsa : The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will attribute increase in intelligence and education, abundant luxuries, reverence and affection of the public. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will render foreign visits, serious disease, death, loss of wealth or destruction of knismen. The Antardasa of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) will give effect to gain of education, clothes etc., comforts from wife and children, admirations from all over etc.

कर्क स्वांशगते चन्द्रे पुत्रदारसुखं महत्‌ ।
ऐश्वर्यं लभते लोके मानं प्रीतिं तथैव च ॥ ११ ॥

शत्रुभ्यश्च पशुभ्यश्च भयं राजकुलात्‌ तथा ।
आधिव्याधिभयं चैव कर्के स्वांशगते रवौ ॥ १२ ॥

पुत्र-दार-सुहृत्सौख्यं धनवृद्धिस्तथैव च ।
लोके मानं यशश्चैव कर्कांशे बुध-शुक्रयोः ॥ १३ ॥

11-13 : In the Dasa of CANCER Amsa : The Antardasa of the Moon (Cancer) will bring forth special delight to wife and children, great luxuries, reverence. and affection of public.

विषशस्त्रमृतेर्भीतिं ज्वररोगादि-सम्भवाम्‌ ।
पीडां चैव समाप्नोति कर्के स्वांशगते कुजे ॥ १४ ॥

विभवस्यातिलाभश्च शरीरेऽपि सुखं तथा ।
नृपात्‌ सम्मानलाभश्च कर्के स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥ १५ ॥

वात्तव्याधिभयं घोरं सर्पवृश्चिकतो भयम्‌ ।
नानाकष्टमवाप्नोति कर्के स्वांशगते शनौ ॥ १६ ॥

14-16 : In the Dasa of CANCER Amsa : The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause danger from poison, death inflicted by weapons, possibility of distress from the ailments of fever etc. The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will attribute gain of wealth, physical comforts, felicitation from the king. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will indicate fear of wind disease (Vaata), occurrence of peculiar dangerous situations, danger from snake and scorpion, experiencing various troubles.

सिंहांशे स्वांशगे भौमे मुखरोगभयं दिशेत्‌ ।
पित्तज्वरकृतां बाधां शस्त्रक्षतमथापि वा ॥ १७ ॥

धनवस्त्रादिलाभश्च स्त्रीपुत्रादिसुखं तथा ।
बुधभार्गवयोर्विप्र ! सिंहांशे स्वान्तरस्ययोः ॥ १८ ॥

17-18: In the Dasa of LEO Amsa : The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause disease in the mouth, fever due to bile, obstacles, assault by the weapons. The Antardasas of Venus (Taurus-Libra) and Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) will give effect to gain of wealth, clothes etc. and pleasure of wife and children.

उच्चात्‌ पतनभीतिश्च स्वल्पद्रव्यसमागमः ।
विदेशगमनं चैव सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते विधौ ॥ १९ ॥

भयं शात्रुजनेभ्यश्च ज्वरादिव्याधिसम्भवः ।
ज्ञानहानिर्मृतेर्भीतिः सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते रवौ ॥ २० ॥

धनधान्यादिलाभं च प्रसादं द्विज-भूपयोः ।
विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते गुरौ ॥ २१ ॥

19-21: In the Dasa of LEO Amsa : The Antardasa of the Moon (Cancer) will show results of fear of falling from a height, gain of wealth and prosperity, blessings of the king and Brahmin, progress in the field of education.

कन्यायां स्वांशगे सौरे कष्टं प्राप्नोति मानवः ।
प्रयाणं च ज्वरं चैव क्षुद्भवं वैक्लवं तथा ॥ २२ ॥

नृपप्रसादमैश्वर्यं सुहृद्बन्धुसमागमम् ।
विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति कन्यायां स्वांशके गुरौ ॥ २३ ॥

22-23 : In the Dasa of VIRGO Amsa : The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will cause distress to the native, journey, fever, hunger and destitution. The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will bring forth great luxuries at the behest of the king, visits of the friends, growth in education (knowledge).

पित्तज्वरभवा पीडा विदेशे गमनं तथा ।
शस्त्रघातोऽग्निभीतिश्च कन्यायां स्वान्तरे कुजे ॥ २४ ॥

भृत्य पुत्रार्थलाभश्च नानासुखसमागमः ।
बुधभार्गवचन्द्रेषु कन्यास्वांशगतेषु च ॥ २५ ॥

प्रयाणं रोगभीतिश्च कलहो बन्धुभिः सह ।
शस्त्रघातभयं चैव कन्यांशे स्वांशगे रखौ ॥ २६ ॥

24-26 : In the Dasa of VIRGO Amsa: The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause fever due to bile, pains, visit abroad, assault by the weapons and fear of fire. The Antardasas of the signs of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo), Venus (Taurus-Libra), the Moon (Can cer) will produce results like gain of servants, children, wealth, varied comforts. The Antardasa of Sun (Leo) will induce visits to the foreign country, danger of disease, dispute amongst brothers, apprehension of assault by weapons.

तुले स्वान्तर्गते शुक्रे सद्बुद्धिश्च सुखोदयः ।
स्त्रीपुत्रधन-वस्त्रादिलाभो भवति निश्चितः ॥ २७ ॥

पितृकष्टं सुहृद्वैरं शिरोरोगो ज्वरोदयः ।
विषशस्त्राग्निभीतिश्च तुले स्वान्तर्गते कुजे ॥ २८ ॥

27-28: In the Dasa of LIBRA Amsa: The Antardasa of Venus (Taurus-Libra) will attribute wisdom, eminence of comforts definite gain of wife (marriage), children, wealth, clothes etc. The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will produce agony of father, enmity with friends, mental sickness, apprehension of fever, poison, fire etc.

द्रव्यरत्नादिलाभश्च धर्मकार्य नृपादरः ।
सर्वत्र सुखसम्प्राप्तिस्तुले स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥ २९ ॥

प्रयाणं च महाव्याधिः क्षेत्रादे: क्षतिरेव ।
शत्रुबाधा च कार्येषु तुले स्वांशगते शनौ ॥ ३० ॥

पुत्रजन्म धनप्राप्तिः स्त्रीसुखं च मनःप्रियम् ।
भाग्योदयश्च विज्ञेयस्तुले स्वान्तर्गते बुधे ॥ ३१ ॥

29-31 : In the Dasa of LIBRA Amsa: The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will give gain of wealth and gems, religious deeds and eminence from the king, all kinds of happiness. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will bring forth long journey, serious disease, loss of crops, hindrance by the enemies at work. The Antardasa of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) will confer birth of a child, gain of wealth, comforts of wife, mental exultation, elevation in fortune.

शशांकबुधशुक्रेषु वृश्चिके स्वांशगेषु च ।
नाना-धान्य - धनप्राप्तिर्व्याधिविनाशो महत् सुखम् ॥ ३२ ॥

शत्रुक्षोभभयं व्याधिमर्थनाशं पितुर्भयम् ।
श्वापदाद् भयमाप्नोति वृश्चिके स्वांशगे रवौ ॥ ३३ ॥

32-33 : In the Dasa of SCORPIO Amsa: The Antardasa of the signs of the Moon, Mercury, Venus will effect acquisition of various kinds of wealth and prosperity, relief from ailments, abundant happiness. The Antardasa of Sun (Leo) will cause wrath of enemies, apprehension of ailments, loss of wealth and father, danger from ferocious animals.

वातपित्तभयं चैव मसूरीव्रणमादिशेत् ।
अग्निशस्त्रादिभीतिश्च वृश्चिके स्वांशगे कुजे ॥ ३४ ॥

धनं धान्यं च रत्नं च देवब्राह्मणपूजनम् ।
राजप्रसादमाप्नोति वृश्चिके स्वांशगे गुरौ ॥ ३५ ॥

धनबन्धुविनाशश्च जायते मानसी व्यथा ।
शत्रुवाधा महाव्याधिर्वृश्चिके स्वांशगे शनौ ॥ ३६ ॥

34-36 : In the Dasa of SCORPIO Amsa: The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause danger from wind and bile diseases, small pox, injuries, fire, weapon etc. The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will give gain of wealth, prosperity, gems, worship of deity and respect from Brahmins, blessings from the king. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will result in the loss of wealth and kinsmen, anguish, obstructions by the enemies, serious disease.

अतिदाहं ज्वरं छर्दि मुखरोगं विशेषतः ।
नानाक्लेशमवाप्नोति चापांशे स्वांशगे कुजे ॥ ३७ ॥

श्रियं विद्यां च सौभाग्यं शत्रुनाशं नृपात् सुखम् ।
भार्गवन्दुचन्द्राणां चापे स्वस्वांशके दिशेत् ॥ ३८ ॥

37-38 : In the Dasa of SAGITTARIUS Amsa: The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause intensive inflammation, fever, cold, disease particularly to mouth and other assorted distresses. The Antardasas of the signs of Venus (Taurus-Libra) the Moon (Cancer) and Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) will confer wealth and property, education, good fortune, destruction of enemies and pleasure of the king.

भार्यावित्तविनाशं च कलहं च नृपाद् भयम् ।
दूरयात्रामवाप्नोति चापांशे स्वांशगे रवौ ॥ ३९ ॥

दानधर्मतपोलाभं राजपूजनमाप्नुयात् ।
भार्याविभवलाभं च चापे स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥ ४० ॥

39-40 : The Antardasa of the (Leo) will effect the destruction of wife and wealth, quarrel, danger from the king and visit to a distant place. The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius Pisces) will confer inclination towards charity, religion and to undergo penance, eminence from the king, gain of wife (marriage) and wealth.

द्विजदेवनृपोद्भूतं कोपं बन्धुविनाशनम् ।
देशत्यागमवाप्नोति मकरस्वांशगे शनौ ॥ ४१ ॥

देवार्चनं तपोध्यानं सम्मानं भूपतेःकुले ।
भार्गवज्ञेन्दुजीवानां मृगांशेऽन्तर्दशाफलम् ॥ ४२ ॥

41-42 : in the Dasa of CAPRICORN Amsa: The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn and Aquarius) will give effect to animosity of deity (देवता), Brahmin and the king, destruction of kinsmen, desertion of the country. The Antardasas of the signs of Mercury (Gemini Virgo), Venus (Taurus-Libra) and the Moon (Cancer) will confer worship of deity, inclination to undergo penance, eminence from the king, gain of wife (marriage) and wealth.

शिरोरोगं ज्वरं चैव करपादक्षतं दिशेत् ।
रक्तपित्तातिसारांश्च मृगस्वांशगते कुजे ॥ ४३ ॥

विनाशं पितृबन्धूनां ज्वररोगादिकं दिशेत् ।
नृपशत्रुभयं चैव मृगांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥ ४४ ॥

43-44 : In the Dasa of CAPRICORN Amsa: The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause mental disease, fever assault on hands and feet, blood infection and bile, dysentrey. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will cause destruction of father and borthers, ailment like fever, danger from the king and enemies.

नानाविद्यार्थलाभश्च पुत्रस्त्रीमित्रजं सुखम् ।
शरीरारोग्यमैश्वर्यं कुम्भे स्वांशगते भृगौ ॥ ४५ ॥

ज्वराग्निचोरजा पीडा शत्रूणां च महद् भयम् ।
मनोव्यथामवाप्नोति घटांशस्वान्तरे कुजे ॥ ४६ ॥

45-46 : In the Dasa of AQUARIUS Amsa: The Antardasa of Venus (Taurus-Libra) confers assorted knowledge (learnings), gain of wealth, pleasure of wife, children and friends, sound health and copious luxuries. The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) causes fever, distress from fire and thieves, great danger from the enemies, mental anguish.

नैरुज्यं च सुखं चैव सम्मानं भूपतेः द्विजात् ।
मनःप्रसादमाप्नोति कुम्भांशस्वांशगे गुरौ ॥ ४७ ॥

धातुत्रयप्रकोपं च कलहं देशविभ्रमम् ।
क्षयव्याधिमवाप्नोति कुंम्भांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥ ४८ ॥

पुत्रमित्रधनस्त्रीणां लाभं चैव मनःप्रियम् ।
सौभाग्यवृद्धिमाप्नोति कुम्भांशस्वांशगे बुधे ॥ ४९ ॥

47-49 : In the Dasa of AQUARIUS Amsa: The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will bestow happiness of sound health, comforts, eminence from the king, pleasurable feelings from the Brahmins. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will cause ailments of wind, bile and phlegm, quarrels, visit to foreign country, danger of some diseases. The Antardasa of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) will confer happiness from children, friends, wealth, exultation of mind, elevation of fortune.

विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति स्त्रीसुखं व्याधिनाशनम् ।
सुहृत्संग मनःप्रीतिं मीनांशस्वांशगे विधौ ॥ ५० ॥

बन्धुभिः कलहं चैव चौरभीतिं मनोव्यथाम् ।
स्थानभ्रंशमवाप्नोति मीनांशस्वांशगे रवौ ॥ ५१ ॥

रणे विजयमाप्नोति पशुभूमिसुतागमम् ।
धनवृद्धिश्च मीनांशे स्वांशयोर्बुधशुक्रयोः ॥ ५२ ॥

50-52 : In the Dasa of PISCES Amsa: The Antardasa of the Moon (Cancer) will bring forth growth of education (learnings), pleasure of wife, relief from ailments, feeling of exaltation over the company of friends. The Antardasa of the Sun (Leo) will cause quarrels amongst kinsmen, fear of theft, mental distress, dislodgement from the place (or demotion of position). The Antardasas of Mercury (Gemini-Virgo) and Venus (Taurus-Libra) will confer victory in the battle field, acquisition of animals, land, children, accretion of wealth.

पित्तरोगं विवादञ्च स्वजनैरपि मानवः ।
शत्रूणां भयमाप्नोति मीनांशस्वांशगे कुजे ॥ ५३ ॥

धनवस्त्रकलत्राणां लाभो भूपसमादरः ।
प्रतिष्ठा बहुधा लोके मीनांशस्वांशगे गुरौ ॥ ५४ ॥

धननाशो मनस्तापो वेश्यादीनां च संगमात् ।
देशत्यागो भवेद्वापि मीनांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥ ५५ ॥

53-55 : In the Dasa of PISCES Amsa: The Antardasa of Mars (Aries-Scorpio) will cause disease of bile, dispute amongst the members of the family, danger from the enemies. The Antardasa of Jupiter (Sagittarius-Pisces) will confer gains of wealth, clothes, wife (marriage), eminence from the king, in the public. The Antardasa of Saturn (Capricorn-Aquarius) will result in the loss of wealth due to association with prostitutes, agony and even desertion of the country.

एवं प्राज्ञैश्च विज्ञेयं कालचक्रदशाफलम् ।
अन्तर्दशाफलं चैव वामर्क्षेऽप्येवमेव च ॥ ५६ ॥

इदं फलं मया प्रोक्तं धर्माऽधर्मकृतं पुरा ।
तत्सर्वं प्राणिभिर्नित्यं प्राप्यते नाऽत्र संशयः ॥ ५७ ॥

सुहृदोऽन्तर्दशा भव्या पापस्यापि द्विजोत्तम ! ।
शुभस्यापि रिपोश्चैवमशुभा च प्रकीर्तिता ॥ ५८ ॥

56-58 : The Sage Parasara Said O Maitreya ! In this manner, perceive the effects of Kalachakra Dasas and Antardasas in the Savya Chakra. In the same way, the effects of the Dasas and Antardasas of the signs of Apsavya Chakra be understood. The auspicious and inauspicious results are endured by the living beings in accordance to good or bad Karmas (actions) of the previous births. If the malefic planets who deliver inauspicious results are friendly with the lord of the Dasa-sign, the Antardasas of such planets would render benefic results and on the other hand, if the benefic planets are the enemy of the lord of the Dasa-sign, the Antardasa of such planets would produce inauspicious results.

Here are some examples related to Kalachakra Dasa to show its application and efficacy of the system. The study of these illustrations would help the readers to comprehend, one of the most important Dasa systems propounded by Maharishi Parasara, properly and would induce them to not only to get the confirmation of the results delineated through other Dasa systems but also to apply it rather more extensively for analysing the horoscopes under the complexed situations.

Data : Date of birth, 12-7-1952; Time of birth, 9-15 a.m.,; Latitude, 28-43' (N); Longitude, 77°-47' (E).

Balance of Kalachakra Dasa, 0 year, 2 months, 0 day; Nakshatra, Poorva Bhadrapad, 4th Quarter in Savya; Total Dasa period, 86 years; Deha, Cancer; Jeeva, Pisces.

This native was born in Poorva Bhadra Nakshatra in 4th quarter in the Amsa of Cancer. Sagittarius Dasa stands operative between 11-9-1989 and 11-9-1999 with Antardasa of Cancer from 13-12-1992 and 24-5-1995. Maharishi Parasara has said about Cancer Dasa as “कर्कटे धनवृद्धि” meaning thereby that during the Dasa of Cancer in Kalachakra Dasa system, there will be accretion of wealth. Besides, there will also be increase in wealth and property, in this span of Dasa and the native acquires education, and will have rise in fortune. The destruction of enemies and happiness from the king will be the other results. These effects as revealed by Sage Parasara, are felt by the native in this duration.

In this period, the income of the native had a perceptible rise and besides, he received lots of admirations.
