Week 12 — Specialized Horoscopy, Karma, Remedies, and Completion
Twenty-three chapters, and they total less than Week 8's three. What unites them is that each addresses a specific circumstance rather than the general method: this kind of person, this kind of birth, this kind of question. Read as one block, Parashara's structure becomes visible - he finishes the general system, then handles the special cases, then closes the book.
What you should be able to do by the end
Handle the classical, karmic and remedial material responsibly - knowing what BPHS actually says, what it does not say, and how to discuss it with someone whose life it concerns.
Do not let the chapter count alarm you. Chapters 87 to 98 are twelve chapters totalling under four thousand words between them, and they are taught as one topic with a lookup table, not as twelve lessons.
Three things here need care rather than length. Female horoscopy: Parashara states that all previously given results apply equally, and then adds what is specific. That framing is the honest way to teach it, and much of Chapters 82 and 83 is plainly located in its period - which the course says out loud rather than pretending otherwise. Curses of the previous birth, Chapter 85, is real doctrine and is not erased; it is taught as a system of meaning about inherited difficulty, not as a diagnosis to hand someone. Remedies are presented as what they are: Parashara’s prescribed propitiations, neither endorsed as mechanisms nor dismissed.
And then Chapter 100, where Parashara closes the book by saying who should practise this and how. It is worth reading properly.
