50. RESULTS OF SPECIAL NAKSHATRAS’ DASAS

स्थानस्थितिवशेनैवं फलं प्रोक्तं पुरातनैः ।
मिथो भावेशसम्बन्धात्फलानि कथयाम्यहम्‌ ॥ १ ॥

1 : In the ancient texts, the results of the Dasas are disseminated based on the strength ol the houses. Now I describe the results of Dasas related to the lords of the houses

लग्नेशस्य दशाकाले सत्कीर्तिर्देहजं सुखम् ।
धनेशस्य दशायां तु क्लेशो वा मृत्युतो भयम् ॥ २ ॥

सहजेशदशाकाले ज्ञेयं पापफलं नृणाम् ।
सुखाधीशादशायां तु गृहभूमिसुखं भवेत् ॥ ३ ॥

पञ्चमेशस्य पाके च विद्याप्तिः पुत्रजं सुखम् ।
रोगेशस्य दशाकाले देहपीडा रिपोर्भयम् ॥ ४ ॥

2-4 : During the Dasa of the lord of the Ascendant, tne native enjoy sound health, high fame, etc; in the Dasa of the lord of the second nouse, conflicts, fear of death and in the Dasa of the lord of the third house, unfavourable results be anticipated, In the Dasa of the lord of fourth house, luxury of mouse and land (property): in the Dasa ofthe lord of the fifth house, progress in education and pleasure of children and in the sixth house's lord Dasa, physical sufferings and danger from the enemies be described.

The following states (Avasthas) of the lord of the Ascendant which tend to take the native towards old age, rather quickly:

i)If t is heading towards debilitation (Avrohi)

ii)If itis in the debilitation.

iii)If it is having connection with the 8th Lord

[Like, (a) conjuct with the 8th lord, (b) the 8th lord posited in the Ascendant, c) Ascendant and the 8th lord in the 6th or the 12th house].

Therefore, if the lord of the ascendant is found in any of thease three states in the nativity, the Mahadasa of the Ascendant lord will persistently affect tha health of the native and he remains in the grip of sickness.

The Ascendant lord if is also connected with the lord of the 2nd, the 7th, the 6th or the 12th house, ever then one may face illness during its Dasa. In the state of debilitation, the lord of the Ascendant in its Dasa makes the native mentally deranged.

It there is any retrograde malefic planet In the 2nd house from the Ascandant lord which also has a malefic planet behind it (In 12th house), the Antradasas of thase two malefic planets in the Mahadasa of the Ascendant lard will set in some serious disease (relating to the body).

if the Ascendant lord is posited in a malefic Sashtamsa, defeated in the planetary war, in the last Amsa of a fixed sign, in the young or the old age of the lord of 22nd Drekkana, Gulika, Mandi or 64th Navamsa, moving towards the sign of debilitation, it will also be hazadrous to the health of the native. Apart from bodily sufferings, a weak Ascendant lord is responsible tor unethical acts, defame, loss of pride, arrogance, cruelty, insult etc.

In addition, the results of the Dasa of the lord of the Ascendant will vary in accordance to the different rising signs (Ascendants),

The Ascendant lord, if strong and connected with the auspicious houses and benefic lord of a house, during its Dasa, native attains fame, comforts, smartness, exaltation, pride, politeness, beauty, sound health, praise, soft behaviour etc.

In the Dasa of the ford of the 2nd house, fear of conflicts and death that the native may grapple with, but these results are farfetched one the 2nd and the 7th houses are the 'Maraka Sthanas'. The 2nd house has greater propensity than the 7th house. The 2nd lord if get conjunct wilh and have any kind of connection with the maletic planets or there are maletic planets posited in the 2nd house, the Dasa of the ford of 2nd house is reckoned as Maraka Dasa. The 2nd lord if has even ordinary affliction, it brings about conflicts in day today dealings. The reasons tor such conflicts may vary in each time.

In the Dasa of a strong and auspicious 2nd lord, the native accummulates wealth and creats assets. He also buys gold and ornaments and has a bank locker registered in his name. With whichever house or house lord, the lord of the 2nd house establishes its connections, the native will acquire wealth connected with the signification of that house and house lord.

The Sage considers the third house as malefic and inauspicus house. Therefore, the Dasa of the 3rd lord renders maletic results. During this Dasa, the native plans about his business activitias and makes efforts for its accomplishment, The native is very exertive and struggles his ways through for the attainments of his ventures during the Dasa of the 3rd lord Should the ford of the 3rd house be powerful, the native gets success of his laborius attempts and sustained efforts, otherwise, his struggle will end in futility.

In the event of 3rd house lord being strong, the native will also gain weight and if this Dasa falls in the young age of the native, he develops lot of strength and dignity. He inculcates the habits of hard working and making profit. He gets affectionate towards his co-borns. He will undertake lot of business and pleasure tourings. The division of ancestral property also generally takes place during this Dasa. The native will leave no stone unturned for the achievement of his ambitions.

In the Dasa of the 4th house lord, if it is strong and well placed, the native achieves high position in the society, attains popularity, acquires conveyance, constructs house, gains in the agricultural field and cattle etc. If 4th lord happened to be weak, the adverse effects may be expected.

The Dasa of the strong and well placed lord of the 5th house, the native will get maturity in his thinkings and will undertake the work in all seriousness and use his wisdom and foresight. The native will get success in big venture. He also develops his acquaintances with the ladies of high Status, In case the native is a writer, he will write his great works during this period that because in this time, one has full cancentration of his mind and consequently, he can put heart and soul In such ventures. Therefore, it is in this period that the native could be conferred with some recognised award for his works. The Dasa of a weak lord of the 5th house will give reverse results.

The results of the Dasa of the lord of the 6th house as experienced by the humble author are like this; the native develops estranged relation with his relatives and known persons. The native experiences stresses and strains. He takes loans and able to return the same but if 6th lord is weak, the native will face extreme difficulties and there will be some delays in returning the loans, However, during this period, the native can earn through work (labour) force. In the event of 6th lord being weak, he may face confrontations with the labour and gets his work done after encountering one obstacle after another

सप्तमेशस्य पाके तु स्त्रीपीडा मृत्युत्तो भयम्‌ ।
अष्टमेशादशाकाले मृत्युभीतिर्धनक्षतिः ॥ ५ ॥

घर्मेशस्य दशायां च भूरिलाभो यशःसुखम्‌ ।
दशमेशदशाकाले सम्मानं नृप्संस्तदि ॥ ६ ॥

लाभेशस्प दशाकाले लाभे बाधा रुजोभयम् ।
व्येयशस्य दशा नुशां बहुकष्टप्रदा दिज ! ॥ ७॥

दशारम्भे शुभस्थाने स्वितस्यापि शुभं फलम्‌ ।
अशुभस्थानगस्यैवं शुभस्यापि न शोभनम्‌ ॥ ८ ॥

5-8: During the Dasa of the lord of the 7th house, there will be danger to wife, fear of death; in the Dasa of the lord of the 8th house, loss of wealth, danger to life; in the 9th house lord’s Dasa, fabulous gain of wealth and fame; in the Dasa of the 10th house lord, recognition from state or authorities; during the Dasa ol the lord of the 11th house, gains, obstacles and fear of sickness and O, Brahim! in the Dasa of the 12th house lord, the native faces extensive distress

In the Dasa of the 8th lord, the native suffers from suspicion, will doubt others and tell lies, will have psychosis fear etc. If the 8th Lord is strong, one acquires wealth through a 'will, from insurance and have other kinds of pit fall gains. The native also gets success in arduous and adventurous task or ventures. A weak 8th lord's Dasa, gives rise to conflict due to some misunderstanding, company of unscrupulous lots and he himself will get involved into lacivious activites.

In this period one also faces punishment from the (king) authorities, Government etc. loss of precious and other items, mental discontment and uneasiness, risking one's life, untold miseries etc.

During the Dasa of an auspicious 9th Lord, pilgrimages to shrines and holy places, distant travellings within the country, advance study, chances of boosting one's fortune, blessings of esteemed learned, rise of benevolent, keen support from the guide for Ph.D., company of religious people etc., are the results of the Dasa. In an inauspious Dasa on the 9th lord, there will be delay and obstacles in the progress. The native in service will face impediments in his promotions and his controlling officer may spoil the confidential reports. The native gets disillusioned about ethics, principles, beliefs and values and he starts defining religious realities in these context. Should the 9th lord be in retrogression, these transformations will bound to take place.

In the Dasa of benefic 10th lord one gets fame, elevation in status and living standard and there will be an overall progress. He gets favours from the influential people, and enhances his dominance. The business. level will move up and no Impediments in the business activities will be experienced. There will be festivity at home, the religious functions will get accomplished and the native will concentrate in the purity of the amenities.

Aninauspicious Dasa of the 10th lord brings punishment from the Government (authorities), business gets moderated, father will get sick, religious functions get disturbed and some kind of conflict etc. has to be faced. One's pride, fame, prestige, status get ridiculed. Others will overpower the native and he will not get his rights and in order to achieve the success, he will resort to unscrupulous means.

In the Dasa of the auspicious 11th lord, efforts get fructified easily. success in ventures, high expectations will also get accomplished. One achieves the desired things etc. That is why this house is known as "house of accomplishments".

The inauspicious Dasa of the 11th lord, the capacity of earnings get retarded and the native runs after the speculative business such as shares, lottery, 'Satta' etc., for which he does not have to make much efforts.

In the strong 12th lord's Dasa, foreign travels will be on card and the native will indulge in export business, tourism etc. This Dasa is good for trade dealings with the supply of goods. The debts get redeemed and the native will have the pleasure of lavish and luxuriant delightful nights.

A weak 12th lord's Dasa will denote fear of imprisonment, unwanted expenditures for the native. The possibility of eye's infection, fear from the enemies, estranged relationship with the relatives may develop; chances of some part of the body getting amputated or damaged. Lack of sound sleep; the native may get addiction, loss of friendship, the programme of foreign travels gets into jeopardy and loss in the foreign transactions be caused.

In the last Shloka, the Sage has emphasised the transit positions of the planets. Although the Dasa may be unfavourable, if the said planet is having a favourable transit in the signs of auspicious houses, it will not produce unfavourable results as long as it remains in that transit. Conversely, if the planet is having a favourable Dasa but the transit is not good, in that case, the favourable results gets forestalled till the time the planet is passing through such a phase of the transit.

पञ्चमेशेन युक्तस्य कर्मेशस्य दशा शुभा ।
नवमेशेन युक्तस्य कर्मेशस्यातिशोभना ॥ ९ ॥

पञ्चमेशेन युक्तस्य ग्रहस्यापि दशा शुभा ।
तथा धर्मपयुक्तस्य दशा परमशोभना ॥ १० ॥

सुखेशसहितस्यापि धर्मेशस्य दशा शुभा ।
पञ्चमस्थानगस्यापि मानेशस्य दशाशुभा ॥ ११ ॥

एवं त्रिकोणनाथानां केन्द्रस्थानां दशा: शुभाः ।
तथा कोणस्थितानां च केन्द्रेशानां दशाः शुभाः ॥ १२ ॥

केन्द्रेश: कोणभावस्थ: कोणेश: केन्द्रगो यदि ।
तयोर्दशां शुभां प्राहुर्ज्योतिः शास्त्रविदो जनाः ॥ १३ ॥

9-13: The results of the Dasa of the 10th lord will be auspicious if conjunct with the 5th or the 9th lord. The Dasa of the other planets will also be favourable if posited with the 5th lord. Conjunction of the 9th lord with the other planets will cause exceedingly good results during the Dasa of such planets. The Dasa of the 9th lord if conjoined with the 4th lord and the Dasa of the 10th lord if posited in the 5th house are also the benefic Dasas. The Dasas of the Trine lords occupying Angles (kendras) position or the Angle lords located in the Trine houses, also render good results and these Dasas according to the Astrological Savants are said to be extremely auspicious.

i)The Dasa of the 10th lord duly conjunct with the 5th ford brings favourable results. This Dasa will boost the career or business of the native in which his personal efforts will contribute a lot. Owing to his high degree of intelligence and mental ability he attains status, dignity, fame, progress and imposes his convictions and ideas. The native adopts right path and does such good works which not only stand in good stead for the building of his future but also enriches his next birth.

ii)The Dasa of the 10th lord is also exceedingly beneficial if 9th lord is posited with it. In this Dasa, the native reaps the fruit of his past 'Karmas' and good results of his fate get transcribed.

iii)The Dasas of the planets having company of the 5th lord also cause good effects.

iv)However, the conjunction of the 9th lord with any planet gives excellent results during its Dasas.

v)The auspicious results of the 9th lord is also expected if it is posited with the 4th lord.

vi)The position of the 10th lord in the 5th house ushers. favourable results.

vii)The exchange between the Angles and the Trine lords is par-excellent and this is reckoned as most powerful Yogkaraka.

The rules (iii) & (iv) at times cause reverse effects. It is necessary to understand as to which planet is having conjunction with the 5th or the 9th lords because lots depend upon the natural characteristics of this planet and the house being represented by it. The results will get greatly influenced by these factors.

षष्ठाष्टमव्ययाधीशा अपि कोणेशसंयुता ।
तेषां दशाऽपि शुभदा कथिता कालकोविदैः ॥ १४ ॥

कोणेशो यदि केन्द्रस्यः केन्द्रेशो यदि कोणगः ।
ताभ्यां युक्तस्य खेटस्य दृष्टियुक्तस्य चैतयोः ॥ १५ ॥

दशां शुभप्रदां प्राहुर्विद्वांसो दैवचिन्तकाः ।
लग्नेशो धर्मभावस्थो धर्मेशो लग्नगो यदि ॥ १६ ॥

एतयोस्तु दशाकाले सुखधर्मसमुद्भवः ।
कर्मेशो लग्नराशिस्थो लग्नेशः कर्मभावगः ॥ १७ ॥

तयोर्दशाविपाके तु राज्यलाभो भवेद् ध्रुवम् ॥ १७/½ ॥

14-17 ½ : The visionaries of 'Kala' have described the Dasas of the 6th, the 8th or the 12th lord as auspicious if they have the conjunction of the lord of Trines. The Dasa of the planets having the conjunction of the Trines lords posited in Angles or Angles lords posited in Trines is also favourable. If the Ascendant occupies the 9th house or the 9th lord occupies the Ascendant, in which case, the Dasas of both these lords bring happiness and comforts. The Dasa of the 10th lord posited in the Ascendant or Dasa of the Ascendant posited in the 10th house will certainly bring gains from the king, (Government, authorities etc.)

A person who gets things through his family traditions, refinements customs, circle etc., remain with him throughout his life. These aspects are delineated from the Ascendant. The effects of these inheritance on the education, comforts, stability, longivity, wealth, wife, children and social contacts are to be studied from the combinations as formed by the Ascendant duly revealed in these Shlokas.

The 10th lord in the Ascendant and the Ascendant in the 10th house will certainly bring benefits to the native from the king or his controlling authorities. This native will certainly have birth in a family having political interests and he will be brought up in these environments. Right from birth the native will harbour deep ambitions of acquiring the position in the State affairs and his mind assimilates the trick of the trade and other political niceties etc., will get deep seated and naturally, he will progress in that direction. As it is, the 10th house and the 10th lord are of neutral character and they are like a virgin land without seed but if it has seeds as signified by the Ascendant such as family traditions, customs, circles and other manifestations are sown, it will disindicate similar types of results.

In the same manner, the connection of the 9th lord and the 10th house will manifest luck, fortune (Bhagya) etc. The 5th house and the 5th lord are such elements of the horoscope which give rise to the 9th house and the 9th lord because the past karmas make the 'Bhagya'. The connection of the 5th lord reveal that the native's gains are neither through family traditions nor through 'Bhagya' but through his own personal efforts.

The lords of the Trines unless establish their connections with the Angles (Kendras), it will be like a unferlite seed which remains dormant. It gives results only through the medium of the connected planets. The lords of the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house get a connection with the trine lords (family traditions - the Ascendant, intelligent work - 5th lord; luck - 9th Lord) obiviously these houses will also get charged with the potency of rendering good results. For example, in the combination of the 5th and the 8th lords, the native gets success in Law or Medical Sciences and on top of it, if the 9th lord is also strongand other Yogakaraks also exist in the nativity, he will be a brilliant student in this field.

The combination of the 5th and the 8th lords will indicate Mining Engineering or study of Ancient Languages and the 5th and the 12th lords' combinations impart study in the foreign country.

In the same manner, the connection of the 4th, the 10th, the 9th and the 6th houses will make the native owner of a big Nursing Home. In the horoscopes of the persons who are involved in the export business of antique items, the combination of the 9th, the 8th, the 10th and the 12th, lords is noticed. From these citations, it is evident that the lords of even evil houses i.e., the 6th, the 8th and the 12th are also capable of producing good results during their Dasas.

त्रिषडायगतानां च त्रिषडायाधिपैर्युजाम् ॥ १८ ॥

शुभानामपि खेटानां दशा पापफलप्रदा ।
मारकस्थानगतानां च मारकेशयुजामपि ॥ १९ ॥

रन्ध्रस्थानगतानां च दशाऽनिष्टफलप्रदा ।
एवं भावेशसम्बन्धादूहनीयं दशाफलम् ॥ २० ॥

18-20: The Dasa of the auspicious planets posited in the 3rd, the 6th or the 11th house or their lords or the planets connected with their lords, manifest unfavourable results. The Dasa of a planet combining with lords of the 2nd or the 7th houses (Maraka Sthana) and also posited therein or the Dasa of a planet placed in the 8th house is considered inauspicious and will give unfavourable results.

In this way, with the inter-relationship and the combination of the houses and their planetary lords, the favourable and unfavourable results of the Dasas of the planets be ascertained.
