59. RESULTS OFTHE ANTARDASAS IN THE MAHADASA OF SATURN

मूलत्रिकोणे स्वर्क्षे वा तुलायामुच्चगेऽपि वा ।
केन्द्रत्रिकोणलाभे वा राजयोगादिसंयुते ॥ १ ॥

राज्यलाभो महत्सौख्यं दारपुत्रादिवर्धनम् ।
वाहनत्रयसंयुक्तं गजाश्वाम्बरसङ्कुलम् ॥ २ ॥

महाराजप्रसादेन सेनापत्यादिलाभकृत् ।
चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभः स्याद् ग्रामभूम्यादिलाभकृत् ॥ ३ ॥

1-3: If Saturn is placed in Moolatrikona, own, Libra or deep exaltation sign or in Angle, Trine duly conjoined with Yogakaraka, during the Antardasa and the Mahadasa of Saturn, there will be gain of Kingdom (securing elevated position), utmost happiness, delight to wife and children. Comforts of three vehicles; accumulation of el ephants, horses, clothes etc., appointment as Army Commander with the grace of the King (Government), gain of animals, village, land etc. will be the other results.

तथाऽष्टमे व्यये मन्दे नीचे वा पापसंयुते ।
तद्भुक्त्यादौ राजभीतिर्विषशस्त्रादिपीडनम् ॥ ४ ॥

रक्तस्त्रावो गुल्मरोगो ह्यतिसारादिपीडनम् ।
मध्ये चौरादि भीतिश्च देशत्यागो मनोरुजः ॥ ५ ॥

अन्ते शुभकरी चैव शनेरन्तर्दशा द्विज ! ॥ ५½ ॥

4-5½ : Placement of Saturn at the 8th or the 12th house duly debilitated or conjoined with the malefic planets will cause danger from the king (State), injuries from poisoned weapons; profuse bleedings; disease of blisters, dysentery etc., in the beginning of the Antardasa. The middle portion of the Antardasa will produce results like danger from thieves; deserting the country; mental agony etc; and the concluding portion of the Antardasa brings happiness, blessedness etc.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु ह्यपमृत्युर्भविष्यति ॥ ६ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ।
ततः शान्तिमवाप्नोति शंकरस्य प्रसादतः ॥ ७ ॥

6-7 : Saturn being the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, will cause premature death. For the alleviation of these effects, Mrityunjaya Japa be performed which will bestow calmness with the grace of Lord Shiva.

Learned Astrologer Manteshwara in Phaladeepika, adopted the middle course. He says "During this period, there will be improvement in the crops so also in servants and animals and at the same time it will cause trouble due to gastric diseases, lethargy, increase in malefic deeds. Besides, there will be gain of wealth through a Sudhra and company of woman older then the native".

However, the version of Sage Parasara is more relevant because this visionary had deposed the results on the basis of different placements of Saturn in the nativity. Besides, the lords of the houses are also considered which are quite vital in delineating the total impact of a particular planet.

In this context, a horoscope is illustrated as under:

Data : Date of birth, 13/14-6-1963; Time of birth 3-58 hrs. (IST);

Latitude, 30°-42' (N); Longitude, 77°-11'(E)

Balance of Dasa: Rahu 4 years, 2 months, 24 days.

In the birth chart, Saturn is placed in the 9th house and in its own sign. Satum is also lord of the 10th house as such Satum becomes Yogakaraka planet for this Ascendent. Saturn is also strong in Shadabala (5.77 Rupa) and in the Nakshatra of Mars (Dhanista). The native passed the examination of I.A.S. (Indian Administrative Service) in his first attempt during the Antardasa and Mahadasa of Saturn.

Like Taurus Ascendant, Satum is also a Yogakarakaplanetforthe Libra Ascendant. However, here Saturn is getting into the sign of debilitation, and therefore the effects will get moderated. Against the favourable results of the 4th and the 5th house, the negative effects related to the 7th house shall also be borne in mind while predicting the results of the Saturn's Dasas. This aspect is taken up in yet another horoscope placed below.

Balance Dasa, Rahu-5 years, 4 months, 9 days.

During the Mahadasa and Antardasa of Saturn, the native suffered very heavy losses in the 'Milk Dairy' business and in an accident, his vehicle got badly damaged and he himself suffered severe injuries. In both, birth and Navamsa charts, Saturn is in the sign of debilitation and also weak in Shadabala of 4.77 Rupa.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते सौम्ये त्रिकोणे केन्द्रगेऽपि वा ।
सम्मानं च यशः कीर्ति विद्यालाभं धनागमम् ॥ ८ ॥

स्वदेशे सुखमाप्नोति वाहनादिफलैर्युतम् ।
यज्ञादिकर्मसिद्धिश्च राजयोगादिसम्भवम् ॥ ९ ॥

देहसौख्यं हृदुत्साहं गृहे कल्याणसम्भवम् ।
सेतुस्नानफलावाप्तिस्तीर्थयात्रादिकर्मणा ॥ १० ॥

वाणिज्याद्धनलाभश्च पुराणश्रवणादिकम् ।
अन्नदानफलं चैव नित्यं मिष्ठान्नभोजनम् ॥ ११ ॥

8-11 : In the duration of Mercury's Antardasa of the Saturn's Mahadasa, if Mercury is posited in Angle or Trine, the results like felicitation, reputation, gain of education and wealth; attainment of comforts in own country; acquisition of vehicles etc., inclination towards oblational rites, possibility of Rajayoga; physical comforts; exultation atheart; prosperity athome; bathing in the pond, pilgrimage etc., are achieved. It will also produce the results of profit in business, attending discourses on Puranas (religious scripture); donation of food grains; daily meals with sweet etc.

षष्ठाष्टमव्यये सौम्ये नीचे वास्तंगते सति ।
रव्यारफणिसंयुक्ते दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ १२ ॥

नृपाभिषेकमर्थाप्तिर्देशग्रामाधिपत्यता ।
फलमीदृशमादौ तु मध्यान्ते रोगपीडनम् ॥ १३ ॥

नष्टानि सर्वकार्याणि व्याकुलत्वं महद्भयम् ॥ १३½ ॥

12-13½: If Mercury is placed at the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house from the Ascendant or the lord of the Mahadasa or combust or associated with the Sun, Mars, Rahu, in the beginning of the Antardasa, there will be coronation; acquisition of wealth; administratorship of the country or village. In the middle and end of the Dasa, it will cause distress due to diseases, hurdles in the success of every pursuit, anxiety and tremendous amount of frightfulness.

द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ १४ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं विष्णुसाहस्त्रकं जपेत् ।
अन्नदानं प्रकुर्वीत सर्वसम्पत्प्रदायकम् ॥ १५ ॥

14-15: If Mercury be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause bodily distress. For the alleviation of the malefic effects, Vishnu Sahasrnama shall be recited. Giving food grains in charity, will bring an overall prosperity.

Latitude, 29°-22' (N), Lonitude 78°-9¹(E)

Balance of Dasa at birth; Rahu 15 years, 9 months, 21 days.

Saturn is in the sign of exaltation and Moola Trikona in the birth chart and Navamsa chart respectively and having Shadabala 7.64 Rupa, against required strength of 5.00 Rupa. Mercury is also strong with 6.63 Rupa of Bala.

Mercury being the Ascendant lord, is conjoined with Venus and posited in the 9th house. In the main period of Saturn and sub-period of Mercury, the native gained popularity, fame and acquired vehicle, property (cinema house and a house) and had lots of entertainments and good crop. He was also elected as Member of Legislative council (MLC). Dashamsa of the native also reflects these results.

In the Dashamsa Chart, Mercury is in Leo sign and conjoined with the Moon and Jupiter. Saturn is in an Angle house with exalted Venus.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते केतौ शुभदृष्टियुतेक्षिते ।
स्वोच्चे वा शुभराशिस्थे योगकारकसंयुते ॥ १६ ॥

केन्द्रकोणगते वापि स्थानभ्रंशो महद्भयम् ।
दरिद्रबन्धनं भीतिः पुत्रदारादिनाशनम् ॥ १७ ॥

स्वप्रभोश्च महाकष्टं विदेशगमनं तथा ।
लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते आदौ सौख्यं धनागमः ॥ १८ ॥

16-18½ : In the Ketu's Antardasa of the Mahadasa of Saturn. If Ketu is in conjunction with or aspected by the benefic planets or in the exalted sign or is conjoned with the Yogakaraka planet in an auspicious sign, in Angle or Trine, it will produce results such as, loss of status in the community, deep fear, poverty, sufferings, destruction of wife and children; distress from own Master (employer), foreign journey etc. Should Ketu be linked with the lord of the Ascendant, in the begining of the Antardasa, there will be comforts, gain of wealth, bathing in Ganges and other holy rivers and shrines and sighting of Isht Deva.

गंगादिसर्वतीर्थेषु स्नानं दैवतदर्शनम् ।
दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा तृतीयभवराशिगे ॥ १९ ॥

समर्थो धर्मबुद्धिश्च सौख्यं नृपसमागमः ॥ १९½ ॥

19-19½ : If Ketu is at an Angle, Trine or in the 3rd or the 11th house from the lord of the Mahadasa (Saturn), endurance, religious thinkings, comforts and pleasure of King will be the results.

तथाऽष्टमे व्यये केतौ दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ २० ॥

अपमृत्युभयं चैव कुत्सितान्नस्य भोजनम् ।
शीतज्वरातिसारश्च व्रणचौरादिपीडनम् ॥ २१ ॥

दारपुत्रवियोगश्च संसारे भवति ध्रुवम् ॥ २१½ ॥

20-21½ : Placement of Ketuat the 8th or the 12th house from the Ascendant or Mahadasa lord, will cause fear of untimely death, unpalatable food, shivering fever, dysentery, injuries, distress from thieves, detachment from wife and children. This is an absolute certaimity.

द्वितीयद्यूनराशिस्थे देहपीडा भविष्यति ॥ २२ ॥

छागदानं प्रकुर्वीत ह्यपमृत्युनिवारणम् ।
केतुग्रहप्रसादेन सुखशान्तिमवाप्नुयात् ॥ २३ ॥

22-23 : If Ketu is in the 2nd or the 7th house, there will be physical trouble. Giving goat in charity will mitigate the evil effects of premature death and peace and comforts will prevail with the blessings of Ketu.

Noted : Placement of Ketu in the 3rd house will inculcate prowness and endurance in the native and if the lord of the Ascendant and the 3rd house conjoin with Ketu, the native acquires lot of fighting strength and sustained endurance. Ahoroscope with such combinations, is presented herewith.

Data : Date of birth 14/15-9-1970, Time of birth 1-15 hrs. (IST)

Latitude 28°-43' (N); Longitude 77°-55' (E)

Balance of Dasa at birth: Rahu, 1 year, 3 months, 20 days.

In the birth chart, Ketu is situated in the 3rd house duly conjoined with lord of the Ascendant Mercury and Mars. Ketu is placed at Trine from Saturn. In the Navamsa chart, Ketu is located at an Angle from Saturn. In the main period of Saturn and sub-period of Ketu, the native's father handed over a very big chemical factory to him which made good earnnings right from the beginning purely on account of sustained efforts put in by the native.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते शुक्रे स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगेऽपि वा ।
केन्द्रे वा शुभसंयुक्ते त्रिकोणे लाभगेऽपि वा ॥ २४ ॥

दारपुत्रधनप्राप्तिर्देहारोग्यं महोत्सवः ।
गृहे कल्याणसम्पत्ती राज्यलाभं महत्सुखम् ॥ २५ ॥

महाराजप्रसादेन हीष्टसिद्धिः सुखावहा ।
सम्मानं प्रभुसम्मानं प्रियवस्त्रादिलाभकृत् ॥ २६ ॥

द्वीपान्तराद्वस्त्रलाभः श्वेताश्वो महिषी तथा ।
गुरुचारवशाद्भाग्यं सौख्यं च धनसम्पदः ॥ २७ ॥

शनिचारान्मनुष्योऽसौ योगमाप्नोत्यसंशयम् ॥ २७½ ॥

24-27½ : During the Antardasa of Venus in the Mahadasa of Saturn if, Venus is exalted or its own sign, or in Angle or placed in Trine or the 11th house duly conjunct with the benefic planet, the results will be, acquisisition of wife (marriage), children (birth) and wealth; sound health, great functions, prosperity at home; gain of kingdom; utmost happiness; fulfillment of ambitions with the blessings of the king; happiness, felicitation (in the community); offering respect to the King; gain of favourite clothes; benefit of clothes from different Islands, acquisition of white horse and buffelo. If there is favourable transit of Jupiter at that time, rise of fortune, comforts, wealth and assets are the kinds of results attained. With the favourable transit of Saturn, the interaction of these combinations will give fructification to the result. (योग क्रिया की सिद्धि)

शत्रुनीचास्तगे शुक्रे षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे ॥ २८ ॥

दारनाशो मनःक्लेश: स्थाननाशो मनोरुजः ।
दाराणां स्वजनक्लेश: सन्तापो जनविग्रहः ॥ २९ ॥

28-29 If Venus is in debilitation or combust or placed in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house, there will be loss of wife; mental conflict; destruction of place; mental agony; conflict with wife and near relatives, distress and opposition from the public.

दायेशाद्भाग्यगे चैव केन्द्रे वा लाभसंयुते ।
राजप्रीतिकरं चैव मनोऽभीष्टप्रदायकम् ॥ ३० ॥

दानधर्मदयायुक्तं तीर्थयात्रादिकं फलम् ।
शास्त्रार्थकाव्यरचनां वेदान्तश्रवणादिकम् ॥ ३१ ॥

दारपुत्रादिसौख्यं च लभते नाऽत्र संशयः ॥ ३१½ ॥

30-31½ : Placement of Venus from the lord of the Mahadasa at the 9th, Angle or the 11th house will produce results like affection to King and attainment of ambitious plans; attached with charity, benevolence and religious deeds; gain from pilgrimages; acquiring knowledge of Shastras, composition of poems; listening to religious discourses; pleasure of wife and children. These results would undoubtedly, occur.

दायेशाद्वयगे शुक्रे षष्ठे वा ह्यष्टमेऽपि वा ॥ ३२ ॥

नेत्रपीडा ज्वरभयं स्वकुलाचारवर्जितः ।
कपोले दन्तशूलादि हृदि गुह्ये च पीडनम् ॥ ३३ ॥

जलभीतिर्मनस्तापो वृक्षात्पतनसम्भवः ।
राजद्वारे जनद्वेष: सोदरेण विरोधनम् ॥ ३४ ॥

32-34 : If Venus is placed at the 12th, the 6th or the 8th house from the lord of the Mahadasa; its Antardasa will cause eye disease; danger of fever; distressed with the behaviour of the members of the family; dental and gum pains; pain in the heart and anus; danger of drowning; mental distress; possibility of falling from the tree; public resentment in the Assembly of the King; confrontation with the brothers etc.

द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे आत्मक्लेशो भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं दुर्गादेवीजपं चरेत् ॥ ३५ ॥

श्वेतां गां महिषीं दद्यादायुरारोग्यवृद्धिदाम् ।
जगदम्बाप्रसादेन ततः सुखमवाप्नुयात् ॥ ३६ ॥

35-36 Placement of Venus in the 2nd or the 7th house will cause deep anguish. For the alleviation of the evil effects, Goddess Durga Saptashti Patha be performed. Giving white cow and female buffalo in charity, will enhance the longevity and confer sound health. Peace and tranquillity will prevail with the blessings of Goddess Jagdamba (माँ जगदम्बा).

According to Phaladeepika', during this period the native gets comforts of his wife and friends and there will be accumulation of wealth from the agricultral field and import and export business. Native's reputation will spread. Although there is striking similarity in the ancient treatises, still one should delineate the results after great thoughts.

Example-52

Data : Date of birth, 27-11-1970; Time of birth, 21-48 hrs. (IST) Latitude 28°-43' (N); Longitude 77°-47' (E). Balance of Dasa at birth: Jupiter 7 years, 10 months, 2 days.

Venus is posited in its sign alongwith Mars, Jupiter and the Moon. Venus is in Swati Nakshatra of Rahu. Therefore, Rahu will also throw its influence on Venus. Mahadasa lord Saturn is at an Angle to the Antardasa lord Venus who is having Deeptha and Swastha Avasthas. Venus is also in Prakashana Avastha. All these three Avasthas will produce good results. Venus is all endowed with high Shadabala of 6.92 (Rupa). However, for the Cancer Ascendant, Venus is considered unfavourable.

During the Sub-period of Venus of the main period of Satum, the native got involved in a love affair with a girl. He had wealthy father who presented acar on his birthday. While returing from the college, the native, girl and the driver met with an accident in the month of July 1987 and he got seriously injured and died on 14.3.1988. This is evident from the 4th house (significator of vehicle) and the

lord of the 6th house (causing accident). Therefore, the road accident was an obvious effect. This could also be observed in the Pratyantar and Sookshma Dasas.

Trimsamsa chart needs, to be analysed over here.

In the Trimamsa chart, Saturn is in Gemini and Venus in Sagittarius signs. Jupiter is in the 8th house alongwith the Moon. The 8th house having the aspects of Rahu, Ketu and Mars and Mars being the lord of the 2nd house (Maraka). The lord of Timsamsa is in the 8th house which stands afflicted and would deliver malefic effects. The Moolatrikona sign has also gone in the 8th house thereby afflicting Venus as well. Saturn, Mahadasa lord and also lord of the 12th house are at mutual aspects with Antardasa lord Venus. Hence, this combination delivered its malefic results in the sub-period of Venus during the main period of Saturn.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते सूर्ये स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगेऽपि वा ।
भाग्याधिपेन संयुक्ते केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे ॥ ३७ ॥

शुभदृष्टियुते वापि स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सुखम् ।
गृहे कल्याणसम्पत्तिः पुत्रादिसुखवर्द्धनम् ॥ ३८ ॥

वाहनाम्बरपश्वादिगोक्षीरैस्संकुलं गृहम् ॥ ३८½ ॥

37-38½ : If the Sun is exalted or in its own sign and conjoined with the lord of the 9th house or in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house and duly aspected by or conjoined with the auspicious planet, the Antardasa of the Sun, in the Mahadasa of Saturn will deliver results like receiving utmost comforts from the Master (employer), welfare at home; gain of wealth; happiness of children; acquisition of vehicle, clothes, animals etc., and house with well stocked milk.

लग्नाष्टमव्यये सूर्ये दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ ३९ ॥

हृद्रोगो मानहानिश्च स्थानभ्रंशो मनोरुजा ।
इष्टबन्धुवियोगश्च उद्योगस्य विनाशनम् ॥ ४० ॥

तापज्वरादिपीडा च व्याकुलत्वं भयं तथा ।
आत्मसम्बन्धिमरणमिष्टवस्तुवियोगकृत् ॥ ४१ ॥

39-41 : Placement of the Sun in the 8th or the 12th house from the lord of the Mahadasa, the Antardasa of the Sun will cause heart ailments, defamation, loss of position (status); metal distress; grief of lovable friends, reverses in the industrial ventures; distress on account of fever etc., anxiety, fear, death of relatives, grief of loving ones etc.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं सूर्यपूजां च कारयेत् ॥ ४२ ॥

42: If the Sun is the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause physical distress. For mitigating the ill effects, the Sun God be worshipped.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते चन्द्रे जीवदृष्टिसमन्विते ।
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रकेन्द्रस्थे त्रिकोणे लाभगेऽपि वा ॥ ४३ ॥

पूर्णे शुभग्रहैर्युक्ते राजप्रीतिसमागमः ।
महाराजप्रसादेन वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ ४४ ॥

सौभाग्यं सुखवृद्धिं च भृत्यानां परिपालनम् ।
पितृमातृकुले सौख्यं पशुवृद्धिः सुखावहा ॥ ४५ ॥

43-45: During the Antardasa of the Moon, in the Mahadasa of Saturn, if full Moon (later stage of waxing) is posited in an exalted or own sign, in Angle or Trine or in the 11th house and either aspected or conjoined with Jupiter or having association (Yoga) of other benefic planets, affection of the King, gain in the vehicle, clothes and ornaments; excellent fortune; improvement in the comforts; nurturing of servants, happiness in the family and of father and mother; contentment with the accretion of animals etc. will be the results.

क्षीणे वा पापसंयुक्ते पापदृष्टे च नीचगे ।
क्रूरांशकगते वापि क्रूरक्षेत्रगतेऽपि वा ॥ ४६ ॥

जातकस्य महत्कष्टं राजकोपो धनक्षयः ।
पितृमातृवियोगश्च पुत्रीपुत्रादिरोगकृत् ॥ ४७ ॥

व्यवसायात्फलं नेष्टं नानामार्गे धनव्ययः ।
अकाले भोजनं चैवमौषधस्य च भक्षणम् ॥ ४८ ॥

फलमेतद्विजानीयादादौ सौख्यं धनागमः ॥ ४८½ ॥

46-48½ : If the Moon is weak (later stage of waning) and conjunct with or aspected by the malefic planets and debilitated or in the malefic Navamasa or place in the inauspicious sign, in the Antardasa of the Moon, the native will experience great sufferings; wrath of the King; loss of wealth, grief of father and mother; ailments of children; loss in the business; expenditure on various matters; irregular (odd hours) food; taking of medicines, but in the begining of the Antardasa, there will be comforts and some gain of wealth etc.

दायेशात्केन्द्रराशिस्थे त्रिकोणे लाभगेऽपि वा ॥ ४९ ॥

वाहनाम्बरपश्वादिभ्रातृवृद्धिः सुखावहा ।
पितृमातृसुखावाप्तिः स्त्रीसौख्यं च धनागमः ॥ ५० ॥

मित्रप्रभुवशादिष्टं सर्वसौख्यं शुभावहम् ॥ ५०½ ॥

4-50½ : If the Moon is located at Angle, Trine or in the 11th house from the lord of the Mahadasa, the Antardasa will confer, comforts of vehicle, clothes, animals and brothers; pleasure to mother, father and wife and gain of wealth; attainment of all kinds of comforts at the behest of friends and preceptor; welfare etc.

दायेशाद्द्वादशे भावे रन्ध्रे वा बलवर्जिते ॥ ५१ ॥

शयनं रोगमालस्यं स्थानभ्रष्टं सुखावहम् ।
शत्रुवृद्धिविरोधं च बन्धुद्वेषमवाप्नुयात् ||५२ ॥

51-52 : Placement of the Moon in the 12th or the 8th house from the Mahadasa lord or the Moon is devoid of strength will cause prolonged sleep; lethargy; loss of place and comforts; increase in animals and opposition, conflict with the affectionate friends.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहालस्यं भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषशमनार्थं च तिलहोमादिकं चरेत् ॥ ५३ ॥

गुडं घृतं च दध्पाक्तं तण्डुलं च यथाविधि ।
श्वेतां गां महिषीं दद्यादायुरारोग्यवृद्धये ॥ ५४ ॥

53-54: If the Moon be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will set in drowsiness. Offering Sassamum(तिल) into fire as oblation will mitigate the evil effects. Also give jaggery, ghee, rice mixed with curd, white cow, female buffalo in charity which will prolong the longevity and confers sound health.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते भौमे केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे ।
तुंगे स्वक्षेत्रगे वापि दशाधिपसमन्विते ॥ ५५ ॥

लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते आदौ सौख्यं धनागमः ।
राजप्रीतिकरं सौख्यं वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ ५६ ॥

सेनापत्यं नृपप्रीतिः कृषिगोधान्यसम्पदः ।
नूतनस्थाननिर्माणं भ्रातृवर्गेष्टसौख्यकृत् ॥ ५७ ॥

55-57 : During the Antardasa of Mars in the Mahadasa of Saturn, if Mars is placed in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house, exaltation or in own sign from the Ascendent and is in conjunction with the lord of the Mahadasa or the Ascendant, there will be happiness right from the beginning of the Antardasa and influx of wealth, affection with the king; acquisition of vehicle, clothes and ornaments; rank of Army commander, felicitation by the King (State);improvementin the crops, animals, wealth and assets; construction of new house, comforts from brothers etc.

नीचे चास्तंगते भौमे लग्नादष्टव्ययस्थिते ।
पापदृष्टियुते वापि धनहानिर्भविष्यति ॥ ५८ ॥

चौराहिव्रणशस्त्रादिग्रन्थिरोगादिपीडनम् ।
भ्रातृपित्रादिपीडा च दायादजनविग्रहः ॥ ५९ ॥

चतृष्पाज्जीवहानिश्च कृत्सितान्नस्य भोजनम् ।
विदेशगमनं चैव नानामार्गे धनव्ययः ॥ ६० ॥

58-60 : If the Mars be combust, in debilitation or placed in the 8th or the 12th house from the Ascendant and duly aspected or conjoined with the malefic planets, there will be loss of wealth; distress from thieves, snakes, injuries through weapon, disease like hernia (ग्रन्थि) trouble from father and brothers; confrontation with coparcener, loss of animals, unpalatable food; travelling to foreign countries; different kind of expenditures etc.

अष्टमद्यूननाथे तु द्वितीयस्थेऽथ वा यदि ।
अपमृत्युभयं चैव नानाकष्टं पराभवः ॥ ६१ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शान्तिहोमं च कारयेत् ।
वृषदानं प्रकुर्वीत सर्वारिष्टनिवारणम् ॥ ६२ ॥

61-62: If Mars is the lord of the 7th or the 8th house or placed in the 2nd house, there will be danger of untimely death, different kind of distresses and losses. Offering oblations into fire (होम) will mitigate the ill effects. By giving buffalo in charity, all types of afflictions will get alleviated.

Besides, the results of the Dasa and Antardasa of Saturn and Mars respectively are similar to that of the Antardasa of the lord of the house in which both these planets are placed.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते राहौ कलहश्च मनोव्यथा ।
देहपीडा मनस्तापः पुत्रद्वेषो रुजोभयम् ॥ ६३ ॥

अर्थव्ययो राजभयं स्वजनादिविरोधिता ।
विदेशगमनं चैव गृहक्षेत्रादिनाशनम् ॥ ६४ ॥

63-64 : During the Antardasa of Rahu in the Mahadasa of Saturn there will be quarrel, mental agony, physical distress; anguish, conflict with children, danger of contracting disease; expenditure of wealth; fear of antagonisation by the King (Government), confrontation with the near relatives; foreign journey and destruction of house and crops.

लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते योगकारकसंयुते ।
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे केन्द्रे दायेशाल्लाभराशिगे ॥ ६५ ॥

आदौ सौख्यं धनावाप्तिं गृहक्षेत्रादिसम्पदम् ।
देवब्राह्मणभक्तिं च तीर्थयात्रादिकं लभेत् ॥ ६६ ॥

चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभ: स्याद् गृहे कल्याणवर्द्धनम् ।
मध्ये तु राजभीतिश्च पुत्रमित्रविरोधनम् ॥ ६७ ॥

65-67 : If Rahu is conjoined with the Ascendant lord or with Yogakaraka planets, in exaltation or own sign; at Angle or in the 11th house from the lord of the Mahadasa, in the beginning of the Antardasa, there will be comforts, gain of wealth; acquisition of house, agricultral field and other assets; worship of Devas and Brahamins; pilgrimages, gain of animals and increase of prosperity at home, etc. In the middle of the Antardasa, fear of the King, opposition from children and friends will be caused.

मेषे कन्यागते वापि कुलीरे वृषभे तथा ।
मीनकोदण्डसिंहेषु गजान्तैमवर्य मादिशेत् ॥ ६८ ॥

राजसम्मानभूषाप्तिं मृदुलाम्बरसौख्यकृत् ॥ ६८½ ॥

68-68½ : If Rahu is posited in Aries, Virgo, Cancer, Taurus, Pisces, Sagittarius or Leo sign, its Antardasa will bring luxuries extended to elephants; recognition from the King; ornaments, comforts of the delicate clothes.

द्विसप्तमाधिपैर्युक्ते देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ ६९ ॥

मृत्युञ्जयं प्रकुर्वीत छागदानं च कारयेत् ।
वृषदानं प्रकुर्वीत सर्वसम्पत्सुखावहम् ॥ ७० ॥

69-70 : Conjunction of Rahu with the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, will cause physical distress. For the mitigation, Mrityunjaya Japa be performed and goat be given in charity which will confer all kinds of material happiness.

In the birth chart, Rahu is conjoined with the lord of the Ascendant. Besides, Yogkaraka planet Mars is also with Rahu which is in its Moolatrikona sign. Therefore, Rahu is armed with all benefic qualities. Matching with the contents of Shlokas 69 and 70, Rahu in the 2nd house is with the lord of this house (Ascendant) duly aspected by Satum. During the sub-period of Rahu and in the main period of Saturn, the native realised all those benefic results prepounded by the Sage Parasara but the native had also undergone physical distress.

मन्दस्यान्तर्गते जीवे केन्द्रे लाभत्रिकोणगे ।
लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगेऽपि वा ॥ ७१ ॥

सर्वकार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्याच्छोभनं भवति ध्रुवम् ।
महाराजप्रसादेन धनवाहनभूषणम् ॥ ७२ ॥

सन्मानं प्रभुसम्मानं प्रियवस्त्रार्थलाभकृत् ।
देवतागुरुभक्तिश्च विद्वज्जनसमागमः ॥ ७३ ॥

दारपुत्रादिलाभश्च पुत्रल्याणवैभवेम् ॥ ७३½ ॥

71-73½ : During the Antardasa of Jupiter in the Mahadasa of Saturn, if Jupiter is placed in Angle, Trine, in own exalted sign or in the 11th house from the Ascendant or conjoined with the lord of the Ascendant, there will be success in all ventures without any hurdle, gain of wealth, vehicle, ornaments with the blessings of the King; felicitation from the public and own master (employer), acquisition of choiced clothes, wealth; worship of deities and devotion of preceptor, company of scholars; profit to wife and children; welfare of children and copious comforts etc.

षष्ठाष्टमव्यये जीवे नीचे वा पापसंयुते ॥ ७४ ॥

निजसम्बन्धिमरणं धनधान्यविनाशनम् ।
राजस्थाने जनद्वेष: कर्यहानिर्भविष्यति ॥ ७५ ॥

विदेशगमनं चैव कुष्ठरोगादिसम्भवः ॥ ७५½ ॥

74-75½ : If Jupiter is placed at the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house or in the sign of debilitation or conjoined with the malefic planets, it will cause death of a near relative, destruction of wealth and crops, confrontation with the people in the Royal Assembly; loss in the ventures; foreign travellings; danger of leprosy etc.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा धने वा लाभगेऽपि वा ॥ ७६ ॥

विभवं दारसौभाग्यं राजश्रीधनसम्पदः ।
भोजनाम्बरसौख्यं च दानधर्मादिकं भवेत् ॥ ७७ ॥

ब्रह्मप्रतिष्ठासिद्धिश्च क्रतुकर्मफलं तथा ।
अन्नदानं महाकीर्तिर्वेदान्तश्रवणादिकम् ॥ ७८ ॥

76-78 : Placement of Jupiter in Angle, Trine or in the 2nd or the 11th house, will confer luxuries, rise of wife's fortune, power of king (political power), gain of wealth and other assets; comforts of food and clothes; excessive duty and religious inclinitions, acquisition of know ledge of Vedas (sacred books) and Vedantas, benefit of oblations, donation of food grains, glorification, listening to Vedantas (Hindu scriptures), in Antardasa of Jupiter.

दायेशात्षष्ठरन्ध्रे वा व्यये वा बलवर्जिते ।
बन्धुद्वेषो मनोदुःखं कलहः पदविच्युतिः ॥ ७९ ॥

कुभोजनं कर्महानी राजदण्डाद्धनव्ययः ।
कारागृहप्रवेशश्च पुत्रदारादिपीडनम् ॥ ८० ॥

79-80 : If Jupiter is posited in the 6th, the 8th, the 12th house from the lord of the Mahadasa or devoid of strength, disputes amongst brothers; mental distress; quarrels, demotion, bad food; loss at work; loss of wealth due to penal action by the King; imprisonment, distress to wife and children etc. will be the results produced during the Antardasa of Jupiter.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा मनोरुजः ।
आत्मसम्बन्धिमरणं भविष्यति न संशयः ॥ ८१ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शिवसाहस्रकं जपेत् ।
स्वर्णदानं प्रकुर्वीत ह्यारोग्यं भवति ध्रुवम् ॥ ८२ ॥

81-82 : If Jupiter is the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause physical distress; mental agony; death of the relative of the native. These results are bound to take place. To alleviate such afflictions, lord Shiva Sahasarnama be recited. Donation of gold will undoubtedly betow sound healths.
