61. RESULTS OF THE ANTARDASAS OFTHE MAHADASA OF KETU

केन्द्रे त्रिकोणलाभे वा केतौ लग्नेशसंयुते ।
भाग्यकर्मसुसम्बन्धे वाहनेशसमन्विते ॥ १ ॥

तद्भुक्तौ धनधान्यादि चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभकृत् ।
पुत्रदारादिसौख्यं च राजप्रीतिमनोरुजः ॥ २ ॥

ग्रामभूम्यादिलाभश्च गृहं गोधनसंकुलम् ॥ २½ ॥

1-2½ : When Ketu duly conjoined with the lord of Ascendant and is posited in Angle, Trine or conjoined with the lord of the 4th house and posited in the 11th house or associated with the 9th or the 10th lord, then in the Mahadasa of Ketu and Antardasa of Ketu, there will be gain of wealth, prosperity and animals; comforts of wife and children, affection of the king but will have mental anguish, acquisition of village (big estate), land etc. and accumulation of cows in the house.

नीचास्तखेटसंयुक्ते ह्यष्टमे व्ययगेऽपि वा ॥ ३ ॥

हृद्रोगो मानहानिश्च धनधान्यपशुक्षयः ।
दारपुत्रादिपीडा च मनश्चांचल्यमेव च ॥ ४ ॥

3-4 : If Ketu is placed in its sign of debilitation or with a combust planet, is posited in the 8th or the 12th house, it will cause heart ailment, defamation; loss of wealth, food grains and animals; distress to wife and children, mental anxiety etc.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथेन सम्बन्धे तत्र संस्थिते ।
अनारोग्यं महत्कष्टमात्मबन्धुवियोगकृत् ॥ ५ ॥

दुर्गादेवीजपं कुर्यान्मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ।
एवं स्वान्तर्गते केतौ ततः सुखमवाप्नुयात् ॥ ६ ॥

5-6 : Placement of Ketu in the 2nd or the 7th house or associated with their lords, it will manifest ill health, agony or grief from co-borns. In order to ward off these evil effects, Japa of Goddess Durga and Mrityunjaya be performed and Ketu will bestow peace in its Antardasa.

i)Placement of Ketu in Angle or Trine duly conjoined with the lord of the Ascendant.

ii)In Carijunction with the lord of the 4th house, if Ketu is located in the 11th house.

iii)When Ketu gets conjoined with the lord of the 9th or the 10th house.

Ketu's association with the planet in its own sign and located in an auspicious house will also bring benefic results. In this situation, Ketu will also give by and large good results in its Mahadasa. With these maxims of Sage Parasara in view, a horoscope is analysed over here.

Balance of Dasa: Rahu, 6 years, 8 months, 22 days.

In the birth chart, Ketu duly conjoined with the lord of the Ascendantis posited in Trine with the Sun being in exalted position along with Yogkarakaplanet Mars. In Navamsa, Ketu is placed in the 10th house. In the Ketu's Mahadasa, the Antardasa of Ketu operated between 3-2-1961 and 30-6-1961. During this period the native experiened all such results as contained in Shloka 1 and 2.

Ketu in the 2nd house does not promise much expectations but in the 2nd house, if Ketu conjoined with the lord of the 2nd house, it will generate good amount of wealth. If the 2nd house suffers from a debilitated planet, particularly the debilitated lord of the Ascendant or with malefic planets, it will cause the possibility of physical distress. This theory is well explained in a horoscope cited over here.

Ketu is situated in the 2nd house of the birth chart alongwith Saturn, the lord of the 2nd house and Jupiter who is the lord of the Ascendant but is in its sign of debilitation. The fall of Jupiter as the Ascendant lord in the 2nd house, manifests unhealthy thinkings and combining with Rahu or Ketu in this state, will prove harmful for the body (health) of the native. In this illustration, Ketu, Saturn and Jupiter are casting a combined effect on the 2nd house which signifies the wealth and death inflicting house (Markesha) and placement of the debilitated Ascendant lord (self-body) over there shows that the effect will be more inclined towards `Markesha' and would act against its other traits. Thus it will enhance the propensity of Markesha. Therefore, position of Ketu in the 2nd house will certainly cause serious bodily distress. In fact, this exactly had happened with the native. During Ketu's Mahadasa and the Antardasa of Ketu (from 28.2.1979 to 27.7.1979), the native had undergone trauma of terrible sickness.

केतोरन्तर्गते शुक्रे स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रसंयुते ।
केन्द्रत्रिकोणलाभे वा राज्यनाथेन संयुते ॥ ७ ॥

राजप्रीतिं च सौभाग्यं दिशेत्स्वाम्बरसंकुलम् ।
तत्काले श्रियमाप्नोति भाग्यकर्मेशसंयुते ॥ ८ ॥

नष्टराज्यधनप्राप्तिं सुखवाहनमुत्तमम् ।
सेतुस्नानादिकं चैव देवतादर्शनं महत् ॥ ९ ॥

महाराजप्रसादेन ग्रामभूम्यादिलाभकृत् ॥ ९½ ॥

7-9½ : If Ketu is posited in its own sign or in the sign of exaltation or in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house or conjoined with the lord of the 10th house, in the Antardasa of Venus and the Mahadasa of Ketu, it will confer affection of the King; beget clothes from the king; quick inflow of wealth (Laxmi), if Ketu duly conjunct with the lord of the 9th or the 10th house; regain of lost Kingdom; comforts of a decent vehicle; dip in the holy pond; intense devotion and vision of deity; acquisition of village (big estate) and lands with the blessing of the King etc.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा दुश्चिक्ये लाभगेऽपि वा ॥ १० ॥

देहारोग्यं शुभं चैव गृहे कल्याणशोभनम् ।
भोजनाम्बरभूषाप्तिरथदोलादिलाभकृत् ॥ ११ ॥

10-11 : Should Venus be in Angle, Trine or in the 3rd or the 11th house from the Mahadasa lord (Ketu), it will confer sound health; welfare at home; gain of food, clothes, ornaments; acquisition of chariot (luxurious vehicle) and Palanquin (decent conveyance).

दायेशाद्रिपुरन्ध्रस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ।
अकस्मात्कलहं चैव पशुधान्यादिपीडनम् ॥ १२ ॥

नीचस्थे खेटसंयुक्ते लग्नात्षष्ठाष्टराशिगे ।
स्वबन्धुजनवैषम्यं शिरोक्षिव्रणपीडनम् ॥ १३ ॥

हृद्रोगं मानहानिं च धनधान्यपशुक्षयम् ।
कलत्रपुत्रपीडाया: सञ्चारं च समादिशेत् ॥ १४ ॥

12-14 : Placement of Ketu in the Trik houses (6, 8, 12) from the Mahadasa lord or conjoined with the malefic planets will manifest impalpable quarrels, destruction of animals and crops. If Ketu is in conjunction with the debilitated planet or located in the 6th or the 8th house from the Ascendant, there will be coflict with the co-borns; injury or pain in the head and eyes; heart trouble; disrepute; loss of wealth, food grains and animals; distress to wife and children and extensive travellings.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहजाड्यं मनोरुजम् ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं दुर्गादेवीजपं चरेत् ।
श्वेतां गां महिषीं दद्यादायुरारोग्यवृद्धये ॥ १५ ॥

15 : If Veņus is lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause stiffness in the body and mental anguish. In order to mellow down the effect of such afflictions, Japa of Goddess Durga be undertaken and white cow and female buffalo be given in charity and this act of propitiation will increase longevity and sound health.

Shloka 12 to 14 depict malefic results of Venus. These principles are testified in the horoscope brought out over here.

The Antardasa of Venus in the Mahadasa period of Ketu operated from 22.8.1979 to 22.10.1980. In the birth chart, Venus is placed in the 12th and the 8th house from the lord of the Mahadasa and the Ascendant respectively. Here, Venus will give specific effects of the 5th house which has the aspect of Mars. For Gemini Ascendant, Mars is a strong malefic planet and as such, its aspect on the 5th house would be much harmful.

During the Antardasa of Venus, the native lost his only son and as result of which he himself suffered a heart attack. The Saptamsa (progeny) chart of the native is vividly affirming this effect.

Gemini is the Ascendant of the Saptams a Chart and Venus is located in the 3rd house and in inimical sign of the Sun who is the significator of son and posited in the debilitated sign in the 5th house (progeny). Saptamsa being examined from the progeny point of view and in this divisional chart, the 8th lord Saturn is placed in the 6th house. The Ascendant lord of Saptamsa Mercury is aspected by both Mars and Saturn who also engulf Venus the 5th lord, having being associated with Mercury.

केतोरन्तर्गत सूर्ये स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगेऽपि वा ।
केन्द्रत्रिकोणलाभे वा शुभयुक्तनिरीक्षिते ॥ १६ ॥

धनधान्यादिलाभश्च राजानुग्रहवैभवम् ।
अनेकशुभकार्याणि चेष्टसिद्धिः सुखावहा ॥ १७ ॥

16-17 : If the Sun is in the sign of exaltation or Moon sign or positioned in Angle,Trine or in the 11th house and aspected by the benefic planet, the Antardasa of the Sun of the Mahadasa of Ketu, will produce gain of wealth and prosperity; help at the King's level; exceeding comforts; accomplishment of auspicious activities; content ments over ambitious plans.

अष्टमव्ययराशिस्थे पापग्रहसमन्विते ।
तद्भुक्तौ राजभीतिश्च पितृमातृवियोगकृत् ॥ १८ ॥

विदेशगमनं चैव चौराहिविषपीडनम् ।
राजमित्रविरोधश्च राजदण्डाद्धनक्षयः ॥ १९ ॥

शोकरोगभयं चैव उष्णाधिक्यं ज्वरो भवेत् ॥ १९½ ॥

18-19½ : Placement of the Sun in the 8th or the 12th house duly conjoined with the malefic planet will cause danger from the King (Government); grief of mother and father. Foreign travellings; distress through thief, snake, poison; opposition from the King and friends; persecution by the King, depletion of wealth; apprehension of sorrow disease; fever due to excessive heat etc. during the Antardasa of the Sun.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा लाभे वा धनसंस्थिते ॥ २० ॥

देहसौख्यं चार्थलाभो पुत्रलाभो मनोदृढम् ।
सर्वकार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्यात्स्वल्पग्रामाधिपत्ययुक् ॥ २१ ॥

20-21 : If the Sun is placed in Angle, Trine or the 2nd or the 11th house from the Mahadasa lord Ketu, it will manifest physical comforts, gain of wealth, birth of a child, firmness at heart; success in all spheres; rulership of a small village etc.

दायेशाद्रन्ध्ररिःफे वा स्थिते वा पापसंयुते ।
अन्नविघ्नो मनोभीतिर्धनधान्यपशुक्षयः ॥ २२ ॥

आदौ मध्ये महाक्लेशानन्ते सौख्यं विनिर्दिशेत् ।
द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे ह्यपमृत्युर्भविष्यति ॥ २३ ॥

तस्य शान्ति प्रकुर्वीत स्वर्णं धेनुं प्रदापयेत् ।
भास्करस्य प्रसादेन ततः सुखमवाप्नुयात् ॥ २४ ॥

22-24 : When the Sun is posited in the 8th or the 12th house from the Mahadasa lord Ketu or conjoined with the malefic planets then there will be obstructions in getting the food; fear at heart; loss of wealth, food grains and animals. The beginning and middle of the Antardasa will cause intense controversies and conflicts and in the end happiness is indicated. If the Sun is the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will produce premature death. For the alleviation of the evil effects, gold and cow be given in charity and with the blessings of the Sun God, comforts and peace will prevail.

केतोरन्तर्गते चन्द्रे स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगेऽपि वा ।
केन्द्रत्रिकोणलाभे वा धने शुभसमन्विते ॥ २५ ॥

राजप्रीतिर्महोत्साहः कल्याणं च महत्सुखम् ।
महाराजप्रसादेन गृहभूम्यादिलाभकृत् ॥ २६ ॥

भोजनाम्बरपश्वादिव्यवसायेऽधिकं फलम् ।
अश्ववाहनलाभश्च वस्त्राभरणभूषणम् ॥ २७ ॥

देवालयतडागादिपुण्यधर्मादिसङ्ग्रहम् ।
पुत्रदारादिसौख्यं च पूर्णचन्द्र प्रयच्छति ॥ २८ ॥

25-28 : The Moon, if posited in exalted or own sign or in Angle, Trine or in the 11th or the 2nd house and conjoined with the benefic planets, during the Antardasa of Moon in the Mahadasa of Ketu, there will be affection from the King; great amount of zeal; welfare and excessive comforts; gain of house, land with the blessings of the King; delight from food, clothes and animals; tremendous gains in the business; gain of horse and vehicle; acquisition of clothes, ornaments; interest in temples, development of ponds, pious deeds and religious functions; comforts of wife and children. Should there be full Moon, the results will be more pronounced.

क्षीणे वा नीचगे चन्द्रे षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे ।
आत्मसौख्यं मनस्तापं कार्यविघ्नं महद्भयम् ॥ २९ ॥

पितृमातृवियोगं च देहजाड्यं मनोव्यथाम् ।
व्यवसायात्फलं कष्टं पशुनाशं भयं वदेत् ॥ ३० ॥

29-30 : If the Moon is bereft of strength, debilitated, placed in Trik house (6/8/12), it will cause frustration over personal discomforts; obstruction at work; frightfulness, grief of father and mother, stiffness in the body; mental anguish, loss in the business; apprehension of losing animals.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा लाभे वा बलसंयुते ।
कृषिगोभूमिलाभं च इष्टबन्धुसमागमम् ॥ ३१ ॥

तस्मात्स्वकार्यसिद्धिं च गृहे गोक्षीरमेव च ।
भुत्यादौ शुभमारोग्यं मध्ये राजप्रियं शुभम् ॥ ३२ ॥

अन्ते तु राजभीतिं च विदेशगमनं तथा ।
दूरयात्रादिसञ्चारं सम्बन्धिजनपूजनम् ॥ ३३ ॥

31-33: Placement of the Moon in the Angle, Trine or in the 11th house and being strong will manifest gain of crops, cows and lands; meeting with the co-borns and accomplishment of work through them; inercase in the quantity of milk at home. The beginning of Antardasa will confer happiness and sound health and in the middle, affection of the king and in the end it will cause fear from the King, foreign travel; distant journey but with in the country and felicitation by the colleagues.

दायेशात्षष्ठरिःफे वा रन्ध्रे वा बलवर्जिते ।
धनधान्यादिहानिश्च मनोव्याकुलमेव च ॥ ३४ ॥

स्वबन्धुजनवैरं च भ्रातपीडा तथैव च ।
निधनाधिपदोषेण द्विसप्तपतिसंयुते ॥ ३५ ॥

अपमृत्युभयं तस्य शान्तिं कुर्याद्यथाविधि ।
चन्द्रप्रीतिकरीं चैव ह्यायुरारोग्यसिद्धये ॥ ३६ ॥

34-36 : From the lord of the Mahadasa (Ketu), if weak Moon is placed in the 6th or the 8th house, it will produce loss of wealth and prosperity; anxiety at heart; hostility with the co-borns, trouble to brothers etc. If the Moon has the affliction of being the lord of the 8th house and have the conjunction of the Markesha (lord of the 2nd or the 7th house ), it will cause fear of an early death (premature). The affliction of the planet can be alleviated by performing the prescribed rituals and the Moon duly pleased, will betow longevity and sound health.

केतोरन्तर्गते भौमे लग्नात्केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे वाऽपि शुभग्रहयुतेक्षिते ॥ ३७ ॥

आदौ शुभफलं चैव ग्रामभूम्यादिलाभकृत् ।
धनधान्यादिलाभश्च चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभकृत् ॥ ३८ ॥

गृहारामक्षेत्रलाभो राजानुग्रहवैभवम् ।
भाग्ये कर्मेशसम्बन्धे भूलाभ: सौख्यमेव च ॥ ३९ ॥

37-39 : If Mars is in Angle, Trine, exalted or in own sign, aspected by or conjoined with the benefic planet, during the Antardasa of Mars in the Mahadasa of Ketu, there will be auspicious results in the beginning and acquisition of land and village (a big estate); gain of wealth and prosperity; profit of animals, house, garden, agricultural land; attainment of luxurious comforts at the behest of the King are the other favourable results. If Mars has a connection with the lord of the 9th or the 10th house, it will bestow land and comforts.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा दुश्चिक्ये लाभगेऽपि वा ।
राजप्रीतियशोलाभः पुत्रमित्रादिसौख्यकृत् ॥ ४० ॥

40 : Placement of Ketu in Angle, Trine or in the 3rd, the 11th house will yield affection of the king; achievement of fame; warmth of children, friends etc.

तथाऽष्टमव्यये भौमे दायेशाद्धनगेऽपि वा ।
द्रुतं करोति मरणं विदेशे चापदं भ्रमम् ॥ ४१ ॥

प्रमेहमूत्रकृच्छ्रदिचौरादिनृपपीडनम् ।
कलहादि व्यथायुक्तं किञ्चित्सुखविवर्द्धनम् ॥ ४२ ॥

41-42 : From the lord of the Mahadasa, if Ketu is placed in the 8th, 12th or 2nd house, it will cause apprehension of early death; hurdles be created in the process of proceeding to a foreign trip; apprehension of urinary disease, distress due to urinary problem (diabetes); trouble from the King, and thief, quarrel coupled with repentance, slight increase in the comforts.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु तापज्वरविषाद्भयम् ।
दारपीडा मन:क्लेशमपमृत्युभयं भवेत् ॥ ४३ ॥

अनड्वाहं प्रदद्यात्तु सर्वसम्पत्सुखावहम् ।
ततः शान्तिमवाप्नोति भौमग्रहप्रसादतः ॥ ४४ ॥

43-44: If Mars has the lordship of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause high fever, fear of poision, distress of wife; mental agony; apprehension of early death. For mitigating the ill effects, goat be given in charity and with the blessings of planet Mars, there will be peace and comfort.

Balance Dasa: Saturn 5 years, 3 months, 8 days.

In the illustrated horoscope, Mars is the lord of the 4th (property) and 11th (gain) houses and is posited in the 5th house from the Ascendant. Mars is 3rd from Ketu and also under the aspect of Ascandant lord Saturn. The elder brother of native having no issue of his own willed his entire property in the name of the native before death. The native already had perantal property and with the inheritance frombrother, his property got doubled during the Antardasa of Mars of the Mahadasa of Ketu.

केतोरन्तर्गते राहौ स्वोच्चे मित्रस्वराशिगे ।
केन्द्रत्रिकोणे लाभे वा दुश्चिक्ये धनसंज्ञके ॥ ४५ ॥

तत्काले धनलाभ: स्यात्सञ्चारो भवति ध्रुवम् ।
म्लेच्छप्रभुवशात्सौख्यं धनधान्यफलादिकम् ॥ ४६ ॥

चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभः स्याद् ग्रामभूम्यादिलाभकृत् ।
भुक्त्यादौ क्लेशमाप्नोति मध्यान्ते सौख्यमाप्नुयात् ॥ ४७ ॥

45-47 : In the Mahadasa of Ketu when Antardasa of Rahu falls and if, Rahu is in the state of exaltation, own or friendly sign; in Angle, Trine or in the 11th, the 3rd or the 2nd house, this period will yield gain of wealth and journies; acquisitions of house, happiness through the king, wealth, food grains, animals, village (big estate), land etc. In the beginning of the Antardasa, there will be conflicts but the middle and the end will bring happiness.

रन्ध्रे वा व्ययगे राहौ पापसंदृष्टसंयुते ।
बहुमूत्रं कृशं देहं शीतज्वरविषाद्भयम् ॥ ४८ ॥

चातुर्थिकज्वरं चैव क्षुद्रोपद्रवपीडनम् ।
अकस्मात्कलहं चैव प्रमेहं शूलमादिशेत् ॥ ४९ ॥

द्वितीयसप्तमस्थे वा तदा क्लेशं महद्भयम् ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं दुर्गादेवीजपं चरेत् ॥ ५० ॥

48-50: Placement of Rahu in the 8th or the 12th house duly conjoined or aspected by the malefic planets will cause complexed urinary disease, body weakness, shivering fever, danger of poison, fever which gets relapsed after every 4th day (intermittent), some minor disease; impalpable quarrel; urinary ailments and shooting abomen pain. If Rahu is posited in the 2nd or the 7th house, there will be conflicts and great frightfulness. In order to mellow down the affliction, the Japa of Goddess Durga be undertaken.

Balance of Dasa at birth: Jupiter-3 years, 3 months, 20 days.

In the instant horoscope, Rahu is placed in the 8th house from the Ascendant and from there the 2nd house is underthe aspect. During the Antardasa of Rahu (from28.11.92to 16.12.1993), the native lostcash and ornaments worth two lakhs of rupees (two hundred thousand) in a burglary. This case of theft has never been traced out. As a mattar of fact, the placement of Rahu in the 8th house generally cause theft of this nature only.

केतोरन्तर्गते जीवे केन्द्रे लाभे त्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे वापि लग्नाधिपसमन्विते ॥ ५१ ॥

कर्मभाग्याधिपैर्युक्ते धनधान्यार्थसंपदम् ।
राजप्रीतिं तथोत्साहमश्वांदोल्यादिकं दिशेत् ॥ ५२ ॥

गृहे कल्याणसम्पत्ति पुत्रलाभं महोत्सवम् ।
पुण्यतीर्थं महोत्साहं सत्कर्म च सुखावहम् ॥ ५३ ॥

इष्टदेवप्रसादेन विजयं कार्यलाभकृत् ।
राजसंल्लापकार्याणि नूतनप्रभुदर्शनम् ॥ ५४ ॥

51-54 : If Jupiter is posited in Angle, Trine, exalted or in own sign or conjoined with the lord of the Ascendant, the 10th or the 9th house, the Jupiter in its Antardasa of the Mahadasa of Ketu will manifest, increase in wealth, prosperity, comforts, affection of the king, exuberence, receipt of horse, Palanquin (decent vehicle) etc. The other results like, welfare at home; prosperity, birth of a child, prolific exultation; great celebration's over the completion of pilgrimage of holy shrines; attainment of pious deeds and comforts; triumph over the enemies with the blessings of devoted God; conversation with the king; meeting with the new king etc. will also be produced during the Antardasa.

षष्ठाष्टमव्यये जीवे दायेशान्नीचगेऽपि वा ।
चौराहिव्रणभीतिं च धनधान्यादिनाशनम् ॥ ५५ ॥

पुत्रदारावियोगं च त्वतीवक्लेशसम्भवम् ।
आदौ शुभफलं चैव अन्ते क्लेशकरं वदेत् ॥ ५६ ॥

55-56 : Placement of Jupiter in the Trik houses (6,8,12) from the lord of the Mahadasa (Ketu) or in the sign of debilitation will cause danger from thief, snake injunry; fear of loss of wealth and food grain; grief of wife and children; possibility of tremendous amount of distress. The begining of the Antardasa will bring forth good results while in the end, there will be distress.

दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा दुश्चिक्ये लाभगेऽपि वा ।
शुभयुक्ते नृपप्रीतिर्विचित्राम्बरभूषणम् ॥ ५७ ॥

दूरदेशप्रयाणं च स्वबन्धुजनपोषणम् ।
भोजनाम्बरपश्वादि भुक्त्यादौ देहपीडनम् ॥ ५८ ॥

अन्ते तु स्थानचलनमकस्मात्कलहो भवेत् ॥ ५८½ ॥

57-58½ : If Jupiter is posited in Angle, Trine or in the 3rd or the 11th house, from the lord of Mahadasa and conjoined with the benefic planets. There will be affection from the king, acquisition of exotic clothes and ornaments; visit to a distant place; nurturing of co borns; gain of food, clothes, animals etc. The beginning of the Antardasa will produce bodily pains and in the end, there will be impalpable quarrel.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु ह्यपमृत्युर्भविष्यति ॥ ५९ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शिवसाहस्त्रकं जपेत् ।
महामृत्युञ्जयं जाप्यं सर्वोपद्रवनाशनम् ॥ ६० ॥

59-60: Placement of Jupiter in the 2nd or the 7th house will cause early death. For the alleviation of these ill effects, Japa of Shiva Sahasornama be performed and Mrityunjaya Mantras be recited and it would destroy all the afflications.

61-62½ : At the advent of the Antardasa of Saturn in the Mahadasa of Ketu if, Saturn is situated in the 8th or the 12th house, it will manifest, distress; controversies amongst the brothers; mental anguish but there will be accretion of animals; loss of wealth due to persecution by the king: great frightfulness; loss of position or place; dwellings in the foreign land; danger from thieves enroute, lethargy - and loss of confidence etc., kind of malefic results.

मीनत्रिकोणगे मन्दे तुलायां स्वर्क्षगेऽपि वा ॥ ६३ ॥

केन्द्रत्रिकोणलाभे वा दुश्चिक्ये वा शुभांशके ।
शुभदृष्टयुते चैव सर्वकार्यार्थसाधनम् ॥ ६४ ॥

स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सौख्यं भ्रमणं च सुखावहम् ।
स्वग्रामे सुखसम्पत्तिः स्ववर्गे राजदर्शनम् ॥ ६५ ॥

63-65: When the placement of Saturn is in the Trine from Pisces sign, in the Libra sign, own sign or Angle Trine, in the 3rd or 11th house from the Ascendant and duly conjunct or aspected by the benefic planets or in benefic Navamsa then Saturn in its Antardasa will confer success in all ventures; great affection from the employer; comfort while travelling; increase in the happiness and prosperity in the village; meeting with the king in his own area etc., type of results.

दायेशात्षष्ठरिःफे वा अष्टमे पापसंयुते ।
देहतापो मनस्तापः कार्ये विघ्नो महद्भयम् ॥ ६६ ॥

आलस्यं मानहानिश्च पितृमात्रोर्विनाशनम् ।
द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु ह्यपमृत्युभयं भवेत् ॥ ६७ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं तिलहोमं च कारयेत् ।
कृष्णां गां महिषीं दद्यादायुरारोग्यवृद्धये ॥ ६८ ॥

66-68 If Saturn is posited in the Trik houses (6, 8, 12) and conjoined with the malefic planets, in its Antardasa, Saturn will cause physical and mental agony; disgrace; loss mother and father. If Saturn is the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will yield results like early death. To ward off such evil effects, offering of Sesamum (तिल) as oblation into fire be performed and black cow, female buffalo be given in charity and this will confer logevity and sound health.

69-71 : When there is Antardasa of Mercury in the Mahadasa of Ketu and Mercury is placed in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house or in the sign of exaltation or in own sign then it will manifest profit from the King (State); great happiness; listening to religious discourses; charities; acquisition of pleasurable and spritually endowed land; birth of child; chanting of religious hymns; gain of wealth, effortless benefit from religion, felicity over the function of marriage and other auspicious occasions; gain of clothes and ornaments etc..

भाग्यकर्माधिपैर्युक्ते भाग्यवृद्धिः सुखावहा ।
विद्वद्गोष्ठीकथाभिश्च कालक्षेपो भविष्यति ॥ ७२ ॥

72 : Conjuncton of Mercury with the lord of the 9th or the 10th house will yield results like, increase in the fortune; comforts and debate with the scholars and time is spent in attending religious discourses.

षष्ठाष्टमव्यये सौम्ये मन्दाराहियुतेक्षिते ।
विरोधो राजवर्गेश्च परगेहनिवासनम् ॥ ७३ ॥

वाहनाम्बरपश्वादिधनधान्यादिनाशकृत् ।
भुक्त्यादौ शोभनं प्रोक्तं मध्ये सौख्यं धनागमः ॥ ७४ ॥

अन्ते क्लेशकरं चैव दारपुत्रादिपीडनम् ॥ ७४½ ॥

73-7412 : If Mercury is in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house from Ascendant and is conjoined with or aspected by Saturn, Mars or Rahu, in its Antardasa there will be opposition from the administratives of the king (State), dwelling in the houses of the other persons, loss of vehicle, clothes, animals, wealth, prosperity etc. In the beginning of the Antardasa, results will be favourable, in the middle, comforts and gain of wealth and the end will cause distress.

75-76 : Even if Mercury is placed in the Angle, Trine or in the 11th house, it will produce sound health, abundant gains, beneficence and great luxuries attained by the son; acquistion of food, clothes, animals etc. and good profit in the business.

दायेशात्षष्ठरन्ध्रे वा व्यये वा बलवर्जिते ।
तद्भुक्त्यादौ महाक्लेशो दारपुत्रादिपीडनम् ॥ ७७ ॥

राजभीतिकरश्चैव मध्ये तीर्थकरो भवेत् ।
द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु ह्यपमृत्युर्भविष्यति ॥ ७८ ॥

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं विष्णुसाहस्रकं जपेत् ।
ततः सुखमवाप्नोति श्रीहरेश्च प्रसादतः ॥ ७९ ॥

77-79 : If Mercury is posited in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house from the lord of Mahadasa Ketu and bereft of strength, in the beginning of the Antardasa there will be tremendous conflict; distress of wife and children and fright from the King (authorities). During the middle of the Antardasa, pilgrimage will take place. Should Mercury be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause early death. For the alleviation of these afflications, Japa of Vishnu Sahsarnama be performed and with the mercy of Lord Vishnu, happiness will prevail.

Mercury in the nativity is the lord of the Ascendant and is at 6th place from the Mahadasa lord Ketu alongwith the Sun and Venus duly aspected by Jupiter. Mercury, in a way, is representing the Ascendant because of its Moolatrikona sign. Besides, lord of the 2nd and the 7th houses Venus and Jupiter are respectively in conjunction and in aspect with Mercury. The Sun, is also conjoining the Antardasa lord Mercury who owns the 12th house.

The Mahadasa lord Ketu is placed in the Ascendant (self body) and the Antardasa lord Mercury is seriously afflicted and is placed at 6th position from Ketu and also owns the Ascendant.
