62. RESULTS OF THE ANTARDASAS IN THE MAHADASA OF VENUS

अथ स्वान्तर्गते शुक्र लग्नात्केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे ।
लाभे वा बलसंयुक्ते तद्भुक्तौ च शुभं फलम् ॥ १ ॥

विप्र मूलाद्धनप्राप्तिर्गो महिष्यादिलाभकृत् ।
पुत्रोत्सवादिसन्तोषो गृहे कल्याणसम्भवः ॥ २ ॥

सम्मानं राजसम्मानं राज्यलाभो महत्सुखम् ॥ २½ ॥

1-2½: In the Antardasa of Venus in the Mahadasa of Venus, if Venus duly strong, is posited in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house from the Ascendant, it will manifest gain of wealth, cow, buffalo (female) etc. at the behest of Brahmins; exceptional happi ness over the birth of a child, welfare at home, respectability, felicitation by the king, acquisition of kingdom etc.

स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगे वापि तुंगांशे स्वावांशगेऽपि वा ॥ ३ ॥

नूतनालयनिर्माणं नित्यं मिष्ठान्नभोजनम् ।
कलत्रपुत्रविभवं मित्रसंयुक्तभोजनम् ॥ ४ ॥

अन्नदानं प्रियं नित्यं दानधर्मादिसङ्ग्रहः ।
महाराजप्रसादेन वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ ५ ॥

व्यवसायात्फलाधिक्यं चतुष्पाज्जीवलाभकृत् ।
प्रयाण पश्चिमे भागे वाहनाम्बरलाभकृत् ॥ ६ ॥

3-6 : If Venus is in the sign of exaltation, own sign or in the exalted or own Navamsa, the Antardasa of Venus will bring forth construction of a new house; sweet with daily meals; pleasure of wife and children; meals with the friends; donation of food grains; inclination towards devoted deity, charity and religious deeds; vehicle with the blessings of the king; high profits in the business; gain of quadruped animals; visits towards the western side; acqui sition of clothes and vehicles.

लग्नाद्युपचये शुक्रे शुभग्रहयुतेक्षिते ।
मित्रांशे तुंगलाभे शयो गकारकसंयुते ॥ ७ ॥

राज्यलाभो महोत्साहो राजप्रीतिः शुभावहा ।
गृहे कल्याणसम्पत्तिर्दारपुत्रादिवर्द्धनम् ॥ ८ ॥

7-8 : When placement of Venus in the Upachaya houses. (3,6,10,11) duly conjoined with or aspected by the benefic planets, placed in the friendly Navamsa or having conjunction with the exalted planet, the lord of the 11th house or Yogakaraka planet, then its Antardasa will confer, gain from the king; great festivity; comforting from king's affection; enhancement of auspiciousness, welfare at home, wealth, wife and children.

षष्ठाष्टमव्यये शुक्रे पापयुक्तेऽथ वीक्षिते ।
चौरादिद्रणभीतिश्च सर्वत्र जनपीडनम् ॥ ९ ॥

राजद्वारे जनद्वेष इष्टबन्धु विनाशनम् ।
दारपुत्रादिपीडा च सर्वत्र जनपीडनम् ॥ १० ॥

9-10 : If Venus is posited in the Trik houses (6,8,12) and having conjunction or aspect of the malefic planets, it will bring about cruel effects like, fear of theft and injuries; public at large be in distress, general resentment amongst the officials of the kings' court (persons under command), destruction of co-borns, distress of wife, children etc.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु स्थिते चेन्मरणं भवेत् ।
तत्र दुर्गाजपं कुर्याद्धेनुदानं च कारयेत् ॥ ११ ॥

11 : If Venus acquires the lordship of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause death in its Antardasa. For the alleviation of the evil effects, the Japa (जप) of Goddess Durga be undertaken and cow be given in charity.

In case Venus is weak in the nativity, it will predominently cause phlegmatic diseases, uneasiness, quarrel and disputes in the family, ailments to wife, sluggishness in the business due to poor transactions or paucity of funds.

Amongst the death inflicting planets (मारक ग्रह), Venus and Jupiter are at the top of the list and if Venus aquires the ownership of the 2nd or the 7th house in the nativity and also the affliction of unmalefic planets or in combusion, it will gain the propensity of inflicting death during its sub period.

There appears to be some kind of contradiction between the Shlokas 7 and 8 and Shlokas 9 and 10. According to Shlokas 7/8, Venus produces favourable results if situated in the Upachaya houses (3,6,10,11) and at the same time Shlokas 8/10 say that Venus is considered inauspicious in the Trik houses (6,8,12). Here only the 6th house is common among them. As per our experience, placement of planets in the 6th house is not good but the results of the planet (Venus), whether good or bad, would mainly depend upon the type of business or work being pursued by the native.

If Venus being the lord of the 10th house and posited in the 6th house and the native is a doctor, in which case the prosperity relating to his profession would turn out to be good. In the same manner, the placement of the 10th house lord, Venus in the 8th house would certainly cause excellent results in the business of leather goods, ivory or antique items. Further, Venus as a lord of the 10th house, if positioned in the 12th house and duly conjunct with the 12th house lord, it would boost up the import and export business. These contentions are quite illustrative in the following horoscope.

Balance Dasa at birth: Saturn - 2 years, 4 months, 24 days.

In the birth Chart, Venus being the lord of the 10th house is situated in the 6th house and receiving the aspects of Jupiter and Mars. Venus is also in the sign of exaltation in the Navamisa Chart. Therefore, Venus duly located in the Upachaya house has gone into the exalted Navamsa. During the major period of Venus and also in its sub-period which operated from 9-1-1964 to 9-5-1967, the native completed his M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) and got employed as lecturer in a Medical College.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते सूर्ये सन्तापो राजविग्रहः ।
दायादकलहश्चैव स्वोच्चनीचविवर्जिते ॥ १२ ॥

12 : During the Antardasa of the Sun in the Mahadasa of Venus, if the Sun is posited in the house other then the auspicious houses, it will cause agony, confrontation with the king and quarrel with coparceners etc.

स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे सूर्ये मित्रर्क्षे केन्द्रकोणगे ।
दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा लाभे वा धनगेऽपि वा ॥ १३ ॥

तद्भुक्तौ धनलाभः स्याद्राज्यस्त्रीधनसम्पदः ।
स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सौख्यमिष्टबन्धोः समागमः ॥ १४ ॥

पितृमात्रोः सुखप्राप्ति भ्रातृलाभं सुखावहम् ।
सत्कीर्ति सुखसौभाग्यं पुत्रलाभं च विन्दति ॥ १५ ॥

13-15: If the Sun is posited in exaltation, own or friendly sign, in Angle, Trine from the Ascendant and also from the lord of the Mahadasa or in the 2nd or the 11th house, the Antardasa of the Sun will confer, gain of wealth; acquisation of kingdom; comfort of wife, wealth and luxuries; great happiness from the employer; favourable visits of the devoted friends, affection of father and mother; pleasure rendering gains of the wealth by the brothers; luxuriant glory; exceeding comforts; exaltation of fortune; birth of a child, etc.

तथाष्टमे व्यये सूर्ये रिपुराशिस्थितेऽपि वा ।
नीचे वा पापवर्गस्थे देहतापो मनोरुजः ॥ १६ ॥

स्वजनोपरिसंक्लेशो नित्यं निष्ठुरभाषणम् ।
पितृपीडा बन्धुहानी राजद्वारे विरोधकृत् ॥ १७ ॥

व्रणपीडाहिबाधा च स्वगृहे च भयं तथा ।
नानारोगभयं चैव गृहक्षेत्रादिनाशनम् ॥ १८ ॥

16-18 : Placement of the Sun in the Trik houses (6,8,12), in the sign of debilitation or in malefic divisions (Vargas), will bring forth fever, mental anguish and quarrel with the co-borns; use of unpal atable language every day; discomfort to father and loss of brother; opposition in the assembly (court) of the King; obstruction from snake; lurking fear in the family (home); possibility of different kinds of diseases; destruction of house and agricultural land.

सप्तमाधिपतौ सूर्ये ग्रहबाधा भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं सूर्येप्रीतिं च कारयेत् ॥ १९ ॥

19 : Should the Sun be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, the other planets will impose obstructions. For the alleviation of this affliction, the Sun God be worshipped.

Balance of Dasa at birth: Mercury 13 years, 11 months, 20 days.

The birth chart of Scorpio Ascendant in which Venus is the lord of the 2nd house (business) and the 12th house (import and export). This Venus in conjunction with the Sun, lord of the 10th house (efforts and workplace) is placed in the Ascendant along with the 11th lord (gain) Mercury. Further, the Sun is in its own Navamsa. In the birth chart, Mercury apart from being the lord of the 11th house also owns the 8th house which signifies metal and minerals. In the Antardasa of the Sun and the Mahadasa of Venus (14-3-1983 to 13-3-1984), the native started export of metallic items and today the native is quite satisfied over his perfor mance.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते चन्द्रे केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे चैव भाग्यनाथेन संयुते ॥ २० ॥

शुभयुक्ते पूर्णचन्द्रे राज्यनाथेन संयुते ।
तद्भुक्तौ वाहनादीनां लाभं गेहे महत्सुखम् ॥ २१ ॥

महाराजप्रसादेन गजान्तै श्वर्यमादिशेत् ।
महानदीस्नानपुण्यं देवब्राह्मणपूजनम् ॥ २२ ॥

20-22 : During the Antardasa of the Moon in the Mahadasa of Venus, if the Moon is posited in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house or in own or exaltation sign or be the lord of the 9th or the 10th house or conjoined with some other benefic planets, it will manifest acquisition of vehicle, great happiness at home; luxuriant comforts at the behest of the king; benefit of dip in sacred Mahanadi (river); devotion of deity and Brahmins, etc., types of results.

गीतवाद्यप्रसंगादिविद्वज्जन विभूषणम् ।
गोमहिष्यादिवृद्धिश्च व्यवसायेऽधिकं फलम् ॥ २३ ॥

भोजनाम्बरसौख्यं च बन्धुसंयुक्तभोजनम् ॥ २३½ ॥

23-23½ : In the above setting, the other results will be, singing, planning of instrumental music and association of the scholars; increase in ornaments, cow and buffalo herds etc., good success in the business; comforts of food and clothes; pleasure of meals with the brothers.

नीचे वास्तंगते वापि षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे ॥ २४ ॥

दायेशात्षष्ठगे वापि रन्ध्रे वा व्ययराशिगे ।
तत्काले धननाश: स्यात्सञ्चरेत महद्भयम् ॥ २५ ॥

देहायासो मनस्तापो राजद्वारे विरोधकृत् ।
विदेशगमनं चैव तीर्थयात्रादिकं फलम् ॥ २६ ॥

दारपुत्रादि पीडा च निजबन्धुवियोगकृत् ॥ २६½ ॥

24-26½ : Placement of the Moon in the sign of debilitation or in the Trik houses (6,8,12) from the Ascendant or from the lord of the Mahadasa, will attribute results in the beginning of the Antardasa like, temporary loss of wealth; frightfulness, physical distress, mental tension, opposition from the Assembly (court) members of the king; foreign travellings; pilgrimage; distress of wife and children; confrontation with the friends and partners etc.

दायेशात्केन्द्रलाभस्थे त्रिकोणे सहजेऽपि वा ॥ २७ ॥

राजप्रीतिकरी चैव देशग्रामाधिपत्यता ।
धैर्य यशः सुखं कीर्तिर्वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ २८ ॥

कूपारामतडागादिनिर्माणं धनसंग्रहः ।
भुक्त्यादौ देहसौख्यं स्यादन्ते क्लेशस्तथा भवेत् ॥ २९ ॥

27-29 : If the Moon is posited in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house or be the lord of Trines or in the 3rd house, it will bestow affection of the king; increase in the village or kingdom (expansion of land holdings), attainment of patience, fame, comforts, glory, vehicle, clothes, ornaments etc., construction of well, garden, water tank etc., accumulation of wealth. In the beginning of the Antardasa, there will be comforts while distress will set in towards the end.

In the birth chart, the Mahadasa lord Venus is placed in the 10th house and the Moon is situated 12th from Venus but the Moon is conjoined with the Yogakaraka planet Mars. Both the Moon and Venus are together in the Navamsa chart (in Sagittarius sign). The native established cloth business at a very large scale (Venus is the significator of cloth) during the Antardasa of Moon and Mahadasa of Venus (from 30-8-1986 to 30-4 1988) and made a great success right from the beginning.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते भौमे लग्नात्केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे वा स्वक्षगे भौमे लाभे वा बलसंयुते ॥ ३० ॥

लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते कर्मभाग्येशसंयुते ।
तद्भुक्तौ राजयोगादिसम्पदं शोभनां वदेत् ॥ ३१ ॥

वस्त्राभरणभूम्यादेरिष्टसिद्धिः सुखावहा ॥ ३१½ ॥

30-31½ : If Mars is placed in Angle, Trine or in own or exalted sign or strong and posited in the 11th house, conjoined with the lord of Ascendant, the 10th, the 9th house, in the Antardasa the results like attainment of kingship and gain of wealth and property be predicted. It will also bring forth acquisition of clothes, ornament, land and pleasure rendering desired objects.

तथाऽष्टमे व्यये वाऽपि दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ ३२ ॥

शीतज्वरादिपीडा च पितृमातृभयावहा ।
ज्वराद्यधिकरोगाश्च स्थानभ्रंशो मनोरुजा ॥ ३३ ॥

स्वबन्धुजनहानिश्च कलहो राजविग्रहः ।
राजद्वारजनद्वेषो धनधान्यव्ययोऽधिकः ॥ ३४ ॥

32-34 : If Mars is located in the 8th or the 12th house from the Ascendant or the lord of the Mahadasa, it will cause distress from shivering fever; disease with sustained fever to the mother and father; loss of place, mental agony; loss of relatives, quarrel; confrontation with the king, conflict with the member of the kings' Assembly (court); excessive expenditure of the wealth and heavy depletion of the food grain (loss of prosperity).

व्यवसायात्फलं नेष्टं ग्रामभूम्यादिहानिकृत् ।
द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ ३५ ॥

35: Should Mars be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause reverses in the business, loss of land and village etc., and physical distress.

Data : Date of birth, 19/20-10-1954; Time of birth 1.00 hrs IST; Latitude : 29°54' (N); Longitude 73°56' (E). Balance of Dasa at birth : Saturn 3 years; 4 months, 9 days.

In the birth horoscope, Mars being Yogakarka (lord of the Angle and Trine houses) is posited in Angle i.e. the 7th house from the Ascendant and is in the sign of exaltation. Mars is having aspects of the Moon and Jupiter, lord of the Ascendant (self) and 9th house (fortune) respectively. Besides, Mars is the strongest planet with the 'Shadbala' (7.06 Rupa). Mars is also the dispositer of Venus which is placed in the 5th house. During the Mahadasa of Venus and the Antardasa of Mars, which operated, from 28-2-1988 to 30-4-1989, the native erected a very big factory with the help of the Government which is delivering excellent results right from the beginning.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते राहौ केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे वा शुभसंदृष्टे योगकारकसंयुते ॥ ३६ ॥

तद्भुक्तौ बहुसौख्यं च धनधान्यादिलाभकृत् ।
इष्टबन्धुसमाकीर्ण भवनं च समादिशेत् ॥ ३७ ॥

यातुः कार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्यात् पशुक्षेत्रादिसम्भवः ॥ ३७½ ॥

36-37½ : In the Mahadasa of Venus, should there be Antardasa of Rahu and if Rahu from the Ascendant is posited in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house, in the sign of exaltation, duly aspected by the auspicious planets or in conjunction with the Yogakaraka planet, it will bring forth extreme happiness; gain of wealth, prosperity etc., visits of affectionate brothers; accomplish ment of the tasks through touring; acquisition of wealth and cattle.

लग्नाद्युपचये राहौ तद्भुक्तिः सुखदा भवेत् ॥ ३८ ॥

शत्रुनाशो महोत्साहो राजप्रीतिकरी शुभा ।
भुक्त्यादौ शरमासांश्च अन्ते ज्वरमजीर्णकृत् ॥ ३९ ॥

38-39 : If Rahu is placed in the Upachaya houses (3, 6, 10, 11) from the Ascendant, the Antardasa of Rahu will be of pleasure renderings. In this duration, destruction of enemies, great exuber ance, happiness of the king etc., types of auspicious results discernable in the first five months of the Antardasa and the end of Antardasa will cause fever and ailment of indigestion.

कार्यविघ्नमवाप्नोति सञ्चरे च मनोव्यथा ।
परं सुखं च सौभाग्यं महाराज इवाऽश्नुते ॥ ४० ॥

नॠत दिशमाश्रित्य प्रयाणं प्रभुदर्शनम् ।
यातुः कार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्यात्स्वदेशे पुनरेष्यति ॥ ४१ ॥

उपकारो ब्राह्मणानां तीर्थयात्राफलं भवेत् ॥ ४१½ ॥

40-41½ : In the above setting, the other results except obstruction in work and mental tension during journies, there will be all other kind of happiness, good fortune and felicitation from the king. It will also produce visits towards the end, meeting with the king, success in touring related works; re-visit to foreign country: blessings of the Brahmins; sacred benefits through pilgrimage.

दायेशाद्रन्ध्रभावस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ॥ ४२ ॥

अशुभं लभते कर्म पितृमातृजनावधि ।
सर्वत्र जनविद्वेषं नानारुपं द्विजोत्तम ॥ ४३ ॥

द्वितीये सप्तमे वापि देहालस्यं विनिर्दिशेत् ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ॥ ४४ ॥

42-44 : If Rahu is posited in the 8th or the 12th house from the lord of the Mahadasa (Venus) or conjoined with the malefic planet, it will be inauspicious to mother and father (including self) and there will be all kind of public resentments should Rahu be placed in the 2nd or the 7th house, inertness (inertia) of the body will be indicative. Japa (जप) of Mrityunjaya will mitigate these ill effects.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते जीवे स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रकेन्द्रगे ।
दायेशाच्छुभराशिस्थे भाग्ये वा पुत्रराशिगे ॥ ४५ ॥

नष्टराज्याद्धनप्राप्तिमिष्टार्थाम्बरसम्पदम् ।
मित्रप्रभोश्च सम्मानं धनधान्यं लभेन्नरः ॥ ४६ ॥

45-46 : In the Mahadasa of Venus, if the Antardasa of Jupiter falls and Jupiter is in exaltation or own sign, in Angle from the Ascendant on in the auspicious sign from the lord of the Mahadasa, in the 9th or the 5th house and in this duration gain of wealth from the destroyed kingdom, acquisition of desired income, clothes and property; felicitation from friends and rulers and the native earns money and prosperity, will be the results.

राजसम्मानकीर्ती च अश्वान्दालादिलाभकृत् ।
विद्वत्प्रभुसमाकीर्ण शास्त्राधिकपरिश्रमम् ॥ ४७ ॥

पुत्रोत्सवादिसन्तो षमिष्टबन्धुसमागमम् ।
पितृमातृसुखप्राप्तिं पुत्रादिसौख्यमादिशेत् ॥ ४८ ॥

47-48: Under the above set up (shlokas 45-46), honoured by the rulers; comforts of horses, palanquin (decent vehicle) meet ing with the learned king; deep study of scriptures, satisfaction over the festivity on son's birth, happiness from parents, son etc. would also be the results.

दायेशात्षष्ठराशिस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ।
राजचौरादिपीडा च देहापीडा भविष्यति ॥ ४९ ॥

आत्मरूग्बन्धुकष्टं स्यात्कलहेन मनोव्यथा ।
स्थानच्युतिं प्रवासं च नानारोगं समाप्नुयात् ॥ ५० ॥

49-50 : If Jupiter is posited in the 6th or 12th house from the lord of the Mahadasa or conjoined with the malefic planets, the Antardasa of Jupiter will manifest, danger from the ruler, thieves; trouble from brothers; loss of mental balance due to quarrels; foreign travels, apprehension of various diseases.

द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे देहबाधा भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थ महामृत्युञ्जयं चरेत ॥ ५१ ॥

51: Should Jupiter be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause bodily pains. Japa of Mrityunjaya be performed to ward off the evil effects.

Latitude: 28°-43' (N); Longitude: 77°-55' (E)

Balance of Dasa: Mercury, 4 years, 7 months, 2 days.

The 2nd lord Jupiter is placed in the 11th house (gains) alongwith 7th Lord Venus (Markesha). In the Antardasa of Jupiter of the Mahadasa of Venus, which came into play between 5-8-1991 and 5-4-1994, the native had been to foreign country for higher education and improving his prospects. For ascertaining a particular event, lot depends upon the planet forming its connections with the lord of the houses. In this horoscope, the significator of education and the lord of the 5th house (education) Jupiter having a conjunction with the 12th lord Venus (12th house signifies exist) and are posited in the 11th house (achievement). Both these planets are also aspecting the 5th house. This presents a vivid picture of achievement (11th house) of foreign (12th house) education (5th house) and gains therefrom.

The underlying idea of this illustration is that one should not always take the pessimistic view of these aphorisms and one must look into the brighter side as well. In other words, merely being the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, a planet should not be branded as 'Markesha' because lot depends upon the disposition of these planets in the horoscope, as has been demonstrated in this example:

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते मन्दे स्वोच्चे तु परमोच्चगे ।
स्वर्क्षकेन्द्रत्रिकोणस्थे तुंगांशे स्वांशगेऽपि वा ॥ ५२ ॥

तद्भुक्तौ बहुसौख्यं स्यादिष्टबन्धुसमागमः ।
राजद्वारे च सम्मानं पुत्रिकाजन्मसम्भवः ॥ ५३ ॥

पुण्यतीर्थ फलावाप्तिर्दान धर्मादिपुण्यकृत् ।
स्वप्रभोश्च पदावाप्तिः नीचस्थे क्लेशभाग्यभवेत् ॥ ५४ ॥

52-54 : In the Antardasa of Saturn of the Mahadasa of Venus, if Saturn is in deep exaltation, exalted or in own sign; in the Angle, Trine or in exalted, or own Navamsa, it will confer great comforts, meeting with the beloved brothers; felicitation by the kings' court (authorities); birth of child; gain from the pilgrimage of the holy shrines; accomplishment of noble deeds through religion and charities; results like promotion etc. by the employer. If the said Saturn is in the sign of debilitation, this period will cause distress etc.

देहालस्यमवाप्नोति तथाऽऽयादधिकव्ययम् ।
तथाष्टमे व्यये मन्दे दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ ५५ ॥

भुक्त्यादी विविधा पीडा पितृमातृजनावधि ।
दारपुत्रादिपीडा च परदेशादिविभ्रमः ॥ ५६ ॥

व्यवसायात्फलं नष्टं गोमहिष्यादिहानिकृत् ।
द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ ५७ ॥

55-57 : If Saturn is placed in the 8th or the 12th house from the Ascendant of the Mahadasa (Venus), its Antardasa (Saturn) will produce lethargy (inertia), expenditure more than income. In the beginning of the Antardasa, there will be various kinds of troubles; distress to parents; pains to wife and children too; touring around foriegn countries; loss of cattle, like cows, buffalos (female) etc. Should Saturn be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause physical discomforts.

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं तिलहोमं च कारयेत् ।
मृत्युञ्जयजपं कुर्याच्चण्डीपाठमाथपि वा ॥ ५८ ॥

स्वयं वा ब्राह्मणद्वारा यथाशक्ति यथाविधि ।
ततः शान्तिमवाप्नोति शिवाशम्भुप्रसादतः ॥ ५९ ॥

58-59: For the alleviation of the evil effects as described in the preceding Shlokas, offering oblation of sesame (तिल) into fire (Havana-होम) be resorted to and Japa (जप) of Mrityunjaya be performed. Besides, Mantras of Goddess Durga be recited either by oneself or through a Brahmin, with full devotion and rituals. Lord Shiva will bestow forbearance.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते सौम्ये केन्द्रे लाभत्रिकोणगे ।
स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगे वापि राजप्रीतिकरं शुभम् ॥ ६० ॥

सौभाग्यं पुत्रलाभश्च सन्मार्गेण धनागमः ।
पुराणधर्मश्रवणं श्रृङगारिजनसं गमः ॥ ६१ ॥

इष्टबन्धुजनाकीर्ण शोभितं तस्य मन्दिरम् ।
स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सौख्यं नित्यं मिष्ठान्नभोजनम् ॥ ६२ ॥

60-62: During the Antardasa of Mercury in the Mahadasa of Venus, if Mercury is placed in Angle, Trine or in the 11th house or in exaltation or own sign, it will usher auspiciouness; affection of the ruler; exaltation of good fortune; birth of a child; gain of wealth through honest means. Listening to religious or ancient scriptures (Purana-पुराण); company of eminent romantic poets; festivity on the visit of beloved ones, great affection from the employer (ruler), sweets with daily meals.

दायेशात्षष्ठरन्ध्रे वा व्यये वा बलवर्जिते ।
पापदृष्टे पापयुक्ते चतुष्पाज्जीवहानिकृत् ॥ ६३ ॥

अन्यालयनिवासश्च मनोवैकल्यसम्भवः ।
व्यापारेषु च सर्वेषु हानिरेव न संशयः ॥ ६४ ॥

63-64 : If Mercury is placed at the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house from the lord of the Mahadasa (Venus) or bereft of strength or under the aspect or conjoined with the malefic planet, its will cause destruction of cattle; residing in the house of other person; mental uneasiness; possibily of loss in business and other activities. These effects undoubtedly will occur.

भुक्त्यादौ शोभनं प्रोक्तं मध्ये मध्यफलं दिशेत् ।
अन्ते क्लेशकरं चैव शीतवातज्वरादिकम् ॥ ६५ ॥

सप्तमाधीशदोषेण देहपीडा भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थ विष्णुसाहस्रकं जपेत् ॥ ६६ ॥

65-66: In the beginning of the Antardasa, favourable results, in the middle, mediocre and towards the end, distress, disease, like gastric, fever due to cold be predicted.

If Mercury be afflicted for being the lord of the 7th house, it will cause bodily distress. In order to ward off this affliction, Lord Vishu Saharsamnama be recited.

Balance of Dasa at birth: Saturn, 3 years, 8 months, 17 days.

In the birth chart, Mercury is the lord of the 7th and the 10th houses and hence suffered from 'Kendradipat Dosha'. Besides, it also inherits 'Maraka Dosha: for being the 7th house lord. Mars having the lordship of the 8th house also throws its aspects on the 7th house. Venus which is the lord of the 6th house is in deep combustion and also posited in the 2nd house which is also occupied by Saturn and the Sun. Again, Saturn is in the inimical sign of the Sun. Mercury is also in the Nakshatra of the Moon (Shravana) who is the lord of the 8th house. In the nativity, Mercury being the lord of 7th house and posited in the 2nd house with two malefic planets, gets deeply afflicted and hence acquires the propensity of 'Marakesha' or inflicting injuries to the native.

In June 1994, when the native was returning from office in a Jeep, his vehicle was hit by the another vehicle and he was very badly injured and had to struggle for his life. He remained on bed for several months and had a terrible agonising time. This all happened in the Antardasa of Mercury and the Mahadasa of Venus.

शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते केतौ स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगेऽपि वा ।
योगकारकसम्बन्धे स्थानवीर्यसमन्विते ॥ ६७ ॥

भुक्त्यादौ शुभमाधिक्यान्नित्यं मिष्ठान्न भोजनम् ।
व्यवसायात्फलाधिक्यं गोमहिष्यादिवृद्धिकृत् ॥ ६८ ॥

67-68 : In the Antardasa of Ketu of the Mahadasa of Venus, if Ketu is in own or exalted sign or associated with the Yogakaraka planet or backed with the Sthana Bala (Positional strength), the beginning of the Antardasa will confer excessive benefic results; sweet with daily meals; great success in the business; increase of cows, buffalo etc.

धनधान्यसमृद्धिश्च संग्रामे विजयो भवेत् ।
भुक्त्यन्ते हि सुखं चैव भुक्त्यादौ मध्यमं फलम् ॥ ६९ ॥

मध्ये मध्ये महत्कष्टं पश्चादारोग्यमादिशेत् ॥ ६९½ ॥

69-69½ : Under the above arrangement, there will also be prosperity, gain of wealth and triumph in battles. The end of the Antardasa will also render happiness. In the middle of the Antardasa, the results will be of mediocre nature but the other parts of the Antardasa, will cause great distress.

दायेशाद्रन्ध्रभावस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ॥ ७० ॥

चौराहिद्रणपीडा च बुद्धिनाशो महद्भयम् ।
शिरोरुजं मनस्तापमकर्मकलहं वदेत् ॥ ७१ ॥

प्रमेहभवरोगं च नानामार्गे धनव्ययः ।
भार्यापुत्रविरोधश्च गमनं कार्यनाशनम् ॥ ७२ ॥

70-72: If the Lord of the Antardasa is placed in the 6th of the 8th house from the lord of the Mahadasa or conjoined with the malefic planet, it will bring forth results like, danger from thieves, snake and injury; poor intellect, great fear, mental illness, mental agony, quarrels / disputes at work, urinary disease, expenditure due to various reasons, opposition from wife and children, journies, failures in ventures.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थ मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ॥ ७३ ॥

छागदानं प्रकुर्वीत सर्वसम्पत्प्रदायकम् ।
शुक्रप्रीतिकरीं शान्ति ततः सुखमवाप्नुयात् ॥ ७४ ॥

73-74: If Ketu is the lord of the 2nd or the 7th house, it will cause bodily distress. For the alleviation of this affliction, Mrityunjaya Japa (तप) be recited. Charity of goat will bring prosperity. With the propitiation of Venus, peace and happiness could be attained.
