63. RESULTS OF THE PRATYANTARDASAS IN THE ANTARDASA OF PLANETS

पृथक् स्वस्वदशामानैर्हन्यादन्तर्दशामितिम् ।
भजेत्सर्वदशायोगैः फलं प्रत्यन्तरं क्रमात् ॥ १ ॥

1: The Antardasa years of a planet be multipled by the Maḥadasa years of each planet separately and the product then be divided by 120 (total of the Mahadasas of all planets) the resultant will indicate the Pratyantardasa of each planet.

It may be noted that the first Pratyantardasa will always belong to the lord of the Antardasafollowed by the normal Dasa sequence of the Vimisottaridas a system. The method ascribed in Shloka 1 could however, beformulised as under:

The computation of all the Pratyantar Dasas of planets is given in a tabularform as per Table 29. In the table, the period has be rounded off to the nearest day because in practice, the predictions, if made upto a day are more than satisfying. Working out these Dasas in terms of hours/minute or Ghatis/ Palas would serve not much purpose as it is a rare possibility to predict that precisely. However, those desirous of getting into the finer details, they can conveniently reach out to these figures with the use of the formula ibidem.

2 : Pratyantardasa of the SUN, in the Antardasa of the SUN Controversies, depletion of Wealth, sufferings of wife, ailments affecting head etc.

उद्वेग: कलहश्चैव वित्तहानिर्मनोव्यथा ।
रव्यन्तरे विजानीयात् चन्द्रप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ३ ॥

3: Pratyantardasa of the Moon, in the Antardasa of the SUN Anxiety, quarrels, loss of wealth, anguish.

राजभीतिः शस्त्रभीतिर्बंधनं बहुसंकटम् ।
शत्रुवहिकृता पीडा कुजप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ४ ॥

4: Pratyanlardasa of MARS in the Antardasa of the SUN - Fear from the king, danger of weapons, bondage, series of troubles, sufferings through enemies and fire etc.

श्लेष्मव्याधिः शस्त्रभीतिर्धनहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
राजभडगस्तंथा त्रासो राहुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ५ ॥

5: Pratyantardasa of RAHU in the Antardasa of the SUN - Phlegmatic diseases, danger from weapon, loss of wealth, great frightfulness, dislodgement from kingship, mental anguish etc.

शत्रुनाशो जयो वृद्धिर्वस्त्रहेमादिभूषणम् ।
अश्वयानादिलाभश्च गुरुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ६ ॥

6: Pratyantardasa of the JUPITER in the Antardasa of the SUN Victory over the enemies, clothes, increase in gold and ornaments, acquisition of horse driven vehicle etc.

धनहानिः पशो: पीडा महोद्वेगो महारुजः ।
अशुभं सर्वमाप्नोति शनिप्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥ ७ ॥

7: Pratyantardasa of SATURN in the Antardasa of the SUN Loss of wealth, trouble to animals, disturbed state of mind, serious disease, inauspicious results in all sphere etc..

विद्यालाभो बन्धुसंगो भोज्यप्राप्तिर्धनागमः ।
धर्मलाभो नृपात्पूजा बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ८ ॥

8 : Pratyantardasa of MERCURY in the Antardasa of the SUN Completion of education, get together with relatives, decent meals, acquisition of wealth, religious attainments.

प्राणमीतिर्महाहानी राजभीतिश्च विग्रहः ।
शत्रुणाञ्च महावादो केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ९ ॥

9: Pratyantardasa of KETU in the Antardasa of the SUN Danger to life, great losses, fear of the Ruler, quarrel, confrontation with the enemies etc.

दिनानि समरुपाणि लाभोऽप्यल्पो भवेदिह ।
स्वल्पा च सुखसम्पत्तिः शुक्रप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ १० ॥

10: Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of the SUN Steady life, little but stable gain, moderate happiness and prosperity etc.

The Sun has inherent quality of bestowing and also the nature of renunciation. Since the Sun signifies 'Soul', he has a direct exposure to the "Supreme Divine". Probably, it is on account of this very characteristic of the Sun, the Sage did not perceive lascivious results such as comforts of women, etc., in the Pratyantardasas of the Sun. This omission is more evident in the Pratyantardasa of Venus (referance Shloka-10). as Venus is otherwise known for delivering lustful and sensuous results.

It may be noted that the results of the Pratyantardasa of the Moon in the Antardasa of the Sun such as excitement, quarrel, mental distress etc., are the predominent significations of the Moon. All these effects are related to mind. However, the results of the subsequent Pratyantardasas are directly connected with the very nature of each planet and the Sage adopted an identical pattern of description.

However, in addition to these perceivable effects, embodied in these Shlokas, we have also to bear in mind the other important factors such as placement of the lord of the Pratyantardasa viz-a-viz the lords of the other Dasas up in the hierarchy in the nativity. Besides, the ownership of a particular house certainly has an imposing effect over the results depictable during the operation of the Pratyantardasa. In other words, one should perceve the results only after taking into account the ingredients like disposition of the lords of hierarchical Dasas in the hierarchy (Mahadasa, antardasa, Pratyantardasa and so on) i.e. their placement, conjunctions, ownership of houses, signification etc. As a matter of fact, the signification or the characteristic of the planets is a main force in delivering specific results and will also decide the timing of occurrence.

Latitude, 28°-24' (N); Longitude 77°-54' (E)

Balance of Dasa: Mercury 3 years, 5 months, 25 days.

The Mahadasa of the Moon, Antardasa of the Sun and Pratyantardasa of Mercury in the nativity operated between 14-3-1993 and 9-4-1993 and during this period, the native met with an accident and was operated upon for the injury in the spinal cord. It has already been stated and the connection of the lord of the 9th and the 6th house would generally cause an accident. In this birth chart the Sun and Mercury are conjoined in the 9th house. Mercury is also the lord of the 7th house (Maraka house) and is in conjunction with Ketu and Mars (significator of injuries and accidents). The Moon also becomes malefic with its association with this combination. Mercury and the 9th house represent the waist and a little lowerportion from it, of the human body. Therefore, an accident in the Pratyantardasa of Mercury was but natural.

11: Pratyantardasa of the MOON in the Antardasa of the MOON-Acquisition of land, decent meals and wealth, conferment of honours by the king etc.

मतिवृद्धिर्महापूज्यः सुखं बन्धुजनैः सह ।
धनागमः शत्रुभयं कुजप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ १२ ॥

12: Pratyantardasa of MARS in the Antardasa of the MOON Gain of wisdom, felicitation by the public, warmth of co-borns, increase of wealth, but harassment by enemies.

भवेत्कल्याणसम्पत्ती राजवित्तसमागमः ।
अशुभैरल्पमृत्युश्च राहुप्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ! ॥ १३ ॥

13 : Pratyantardasa of the RAHU in the Antardasa of the MOON-Acquisition of property, gain of wealth from Ruler (Government); should Rahu be aspected by or conjoined with the malefic planets, it will cause fear of early death.

वस्त्रलाभो महातेजो ब्रह्मज्ञानं च सद्गुरोः ।
राज्यालंकरणावाप्तिर्गुरुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ १४ ॥

14: Pratyantardasa of the JUPITER in the Antardasa of the MOON-Gain of clothes, increase of glory, gaining of virtuous knowledge from the proceptor, acquisition of kingship and ornaments etc.

दुर्दिने लभते पीडां वातपित्ताद्विशेषतः ।
धनधान्ययशोहानिः शनिप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ १५ ॥

15 : Pratantardasa of the SATURN in the Antardasa of the MOON-Distress through bilious and gastric diseases (especially in bad days), loss of wealth, prosperity and fame etc.

पुत्रजन्महयप्राप्तिर्विद्यालाभो महोन्नतिः ।
शुक्लवस्त्रान्नलाभश्च बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ १६ ॥

16: Pratyantardasa of MERCURY in the Antardasa of the MOON - Birth of a child, procuring a horse, attainment of education, developments at a large scale, acquistion of clothes and food grains etc.

ब्राह्मणेन समं युद्धमपमृत्युः सुखक्षयः ।
सर्वत्र जायते क्लेश: केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ १७ ॥

17: Pratyantardasa of KETU in the Antardasa of the MOON Conflicts with the Brahmins, early death, degeration of comforts, distress in all spheres etc.

धनलाभो महत्सौख्यं कन्याजन्म सुभोजनम् ।
प्रीतिश्च सर्वलोकेभ्यो भृगुप्रत्यन्तरे विधोः ॥ १८ ॥

18: Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of the MOON Gain of wealth, great Jubilation, birth of a daughter, gain of decent meals, affection with all etc.

अन्नागमो वस्त्रलाभ: शत्रुहानिः सुखागमः ।
सर्वत्र विजयप्राप्ति सूर्यप्रत्यन्तरे विधोः ॥ १९ ॥

19 Pratyantardasa of the SUN in the Antardasa of the MOON-Acquisition of food grains and clothes, vanquinshing enemies, ushering of comforts, triumph in all frontiers etc.

Balance of Dasa at birth: Mercury 10 years, 8 months, 3 days.

This lady of nativity gave birth to a son, after a very long time, in the Mahadasa of the Sun, the Antardasa of the Moon and the Pratyantardasa of Mars. The Sun is the lord of the 5th house in the natural horoscope and is also the Karaka of son comparable to Jupiter. The Moon in whose Antardasa the birth of a child took place, is the lord of the 5th house in the birth chart and posited therein with direct aspects of the Sun. Similarly Mars owns the 9th house and both these houses (5th and 9th) have the capacity of producing a child. The Pratyantardasa of Mars fell between 24.2.1994 and 4.3.1994. It may thus be seen that forthe fructification of a particular result, the coherence, compatibility and auspicious connections between the lords of all these three Dasas are absolutely necessary.

कलह: शत्रुभीर्नित्यं राहुप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २१ ॥

21 : Pratyantardasa of RAHU in the Antardasa of MARS - Imprisonment, depletion of wealth and loss of kingdom, insipid food, disputes and danger from the enemies etc.

मतिनाशस्तथा दुःखं सन्तापः कलहो भवेत् ।
विफलं चिन्तितं सर्वं गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २२ ॥

22: Pratyantardasa of JUPITER in the Antardasa of MARS - Degeneration of wisdom (middle of), grief, agony, mental anguish etc.

स्वामिनाशस्तथा पीडा धनहानिर्महाभयम् ।
वैकल्यं कलहस्त्रासो शने: प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २३ ॥

23: Pratyantardasa of SATURN in the Antardasa of MARS - Annihilation of the Master, pains, loss of money, frightfulness, destitute, disputes and terror etc.

सर्वथा बुद्धिनाशश्च धनहानिर्ज्वरस्तनौ ।
वस्त्रान्नसुहृदां नाशो बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २४ ॥

24 : Pratyantardasa of MERCURY in the Antardasa of MARS Degeneration of wisdom (intellect).

आलस्यं च शिर:पीडा पापरोगोऽपमृत्युकृत् ।
राजभीति: शस्त्रघातो केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २५ ॥

25 : Pratyantardasa of KETU in the Antardasa of MARS - Inertia, physical pains, diseases generating bad effects, fear of early death, danger from the Ruler, injury inflicted by the weapon etc.

चाण्डालात्सकंटस्त्रासो राजशस्त्रभयं भवेत् ।
अतिसारोऽथ वमनं भृगो: प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २६ ॥

26 : Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of MARS - Trouble from Chandalas (चण्डाल), terror, fear from the king, danger from weapons, diseases like dysentery and vomiting.

भूमिलाभोऽर्थसम्पत्तिः सन्तोषो मित्रसंगतिः ।
सर्वत्र सुखमाप्नोति रखेः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥ २७ ॥

27: Pratyantardasa of the SUN in the Antardasa of MARS - Gain of land, wealth and property, contentment, company of friends, all sorts of comforts etc.

याम्यां दिशि भवेल्लाभः सितवस्त्रविभूषणम् ।
संसिद्धिः सर्वकार्याणां विधोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ २८ ॥

28 : Pratyantardasa of the MOON in the Antardasa of MARS Acquisition of white apparels, ornaments, etc., from the southern direction, success in all pursuits.

बन्धनं बहुधा रोगो बहुघात सुहृद्भयम् ।
राह्वन्तरदशायां च ज्ञेयं राहुन्तरे फलम् ॥ २९ ॥

29 : Pratyantardasa of RAHU in the Antardasa of RAHU : Confinement, various diseases, different kinds of attacks like assault by weapons (on body) and fear from friends.

सर्वत्र लभते मानं गजाश्वं च धनागमम् ।
राहोरन्तर्दशायां च गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥ ३० ॥

30 : Pratyantardasa of JUPITER in the Antardasa of RAHU Profound affection all around, gain of elephants, horses (conveyance) and wealth etc.

बन्धनं जायते घोरं सुखाहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
प्रत्यहं वातपीडा च शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३१ ॥

31:Pratyantardasa of SATURN in the Antardasa of RAHU - Rigorous imprisonment, deprivation of happiness, intense frightfulness, rheumatic diseases, public distress etc.

सर्वत्र बहुधा लाभ: स्त्रीसंगाच्च विशेषतः ।
परदेशभवा सिद्धिर्बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३२ ॥

32 : Pratyantardasa MERCURY in the Antardasa of RAHU Benefit all around, gain through wife in particular, success in venture through foreign visits.

बुद्धिनाशो भयं विघ्नो धनहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
सर्वत्र कलहोद्वेगौ केतो: प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ३३ ॥

33 : Pratyantardasa of KETU in the Antardasa of RAHU Degeneration of wisdom (intellect), fear, impediments, depletion of wealth, profound fear, quarrel all over, anxiety.

योगिनीभ्यो भयं भूयादश्वहानिः कुभोजनम् ।
स्त्रीनाश: कुलजं शोकं शुक्रप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३४ ॥

34 : Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of RAHU: - Danger from witches (women having incantation power), loss of horses, insipid food, loss of wife, bereavement in the family etc.

ज्वररोगो महाभीतिः पुत्रपौत्रादिपीडनम् ।
अल्पमृत्युः प्रमादश्च रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३५ ॥

35: Pratyantardasa of the SUN-in the Antardasa of RAHU - Ailment like fever, intense fear, distress to children, grand children etc., early death, carelessness etc.

उद्वेगकलहौ चिन्ता मानहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
पितुर्विकलता देहे विधोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३६ ॥

36: Pratyantardasa of the MOON in the Antardasa of RAHU Anxiety, quarrel, worries, reputation in jeopardy, immense fright, anxiety of the father etc.

भगन्दरकृता पीडा रक्तपित्तप्रपीडनम् ।
अर्थहानिर्महोद्वेग: कुजप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥ ३७ ॥

37: Pratyantardasa of the MARS in the Antardasa of RAHU Distress, disease of bile, degeneration of wealth, great anxiety etc.

हेमलाभो धान्यवृद्धिः कल्याणं सुफलोदयः ।

38: Pratyanttardasa of JUPITER in the Antardasa of JUPITER Gain of gold, increase in wealth, conferment of welfare and auspicious results.

गोभूमिहयलाभ: स्यात्सर्वत्र सुखसाधनम् ।
संग्रहो ह्यन्नपानादे: शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ३९ ॥

39: Pratyantardasa of SATURN in the Antardasa of JUPITER Gain of cows, land and gold, provision of all sorts of comfort rendering goods, accumulation (storage) of food grains and beverages (drinking material i.e. water etc.).

Inthe birth chart, the lord of the 7th house (wife) the lord of the 6th house are together in the 5th house. In the Mahadasa of Rahu and Antardasa of Jupiter which operated between 12.2.1991 and 6.7.1993, the native got married. When the Pratyantardasa of Saturn arrived in the Antardasa of the Jupiteri.e. from 7.6.1991to 24.10.1991, they got divorcedbut before the marriage had actually been dissolved, the native and his mother had been imprisoned on the basis of some false complaint from his wife.

नानाविद्यार्थसम्प्राप्तिर्हे मवस्त्रविभूषणम् ।
लभते क्षेमसन्तोषं भृगो: प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥ ४२ ॥

42: Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of JUPITER Acquisition of various literary knowledge (learnings), gain of gold, clothes, Jewellery, contentments over welfare etc.

नृपाल्लाभस्तथा मित्रात्पितृतो मातृतोऽपि वा ।
सर्वत्र लभते पूजां रखे: प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥ ४३ ॥

43 : Benefit from the ruler, friends, father and mother; veneration from all over.

सर्वदुःखविमोक्षश्च मुक्तालामो हयस्य च ।
सिद्ध्यन्ति सर्वकार्याणि विधा:प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ! ॥ ४४ ॥

44 : Pratyantardasa of the MOON in the Antardasa of JUPITER - Relief from all sorrows, acquisition of pearls and horses (Convayence), success in all the activities etc.

शस्त्रभीतिर्गुदे पीडा वहिमान्द्यमजीर्णता ।
पीडा शत्रुकृता भूरिर्भीमप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ४५ ॥

45: Pratyantardasa of MARS in the Antardasa of JUPITER Danger from weapons, disease of anus, inflammation and indigestion (dyspepsia), exceeding trouble from the enemies etc.

चाण्डालेन विरोध: स्याद्भयम् तेभ्यो धनक्षतिः ।
कष्टं जीवान्तरे ज्ञेयं राहोः प्रत्यन्तरे ध्रुवम् ॥ ४६ ॥

46: Pratyantardasa of RAHU in the Antardasa of JUPTIER Confrontation with the degraded persons and loss of wealth and distress there from.

देहपीडा कलेर्भीतिर्भयमन्त्यजलोकतः ।
दुःखं शन्यन्तरे नाना शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ४७ ॥

47 : Pratyantardasa of SATURNin the Antardasa of SATURN Bodily distress, apprehension of dispute and fear from the menial persons etc.

बुद्धिनाश कलेर्भीतिरन्नपानादिहानिकृत् ।
धनहानिर्भयं शत्रोः शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे बुधे ॥ ४८ ॥

48 : Pratyantardasa of MERCURY in the Antardasa of SATURN-Degeneration of wisdom (intellect), apprehension of quarrels, destruction of food grains and drinking material, depletion of wealth, harassment by the enemies etc.

बन्धः शत्रोर्गृहे जातो वर्णहानिर्बहुक्षुधा ।
चित्ते चिन्ता भयं त्रासः केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ४९ ॥

49: Pratyantardasa of KETU in the Antardasa of SATURN: -Confinement by the enemies, loss of glamour, great hunger, worries, terror and frightfulness etc.

चिन्तितं फलितं वस्तु कल्याणं स्वजने सदा ।
मनुष्यकृतितो लाभः भृगो: प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ! ॥ ५० ॥

50 : Pratyantardasa of VENUS in the Antardasa of SATURN Attainments of desired material, prosperity of co-borns, gain from the man related activities.

राजतेजोऽधिकारित्वं स्वगृहे जायते कलिः ।
ज्वरादिव्याधिपीडा च रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ५१ ॥

51: Pratyantardasa of the SUN in the Antardasa of SATURN Kingly radiance and authority, disputes in the family, distress from the ailments like fever etc.

स्फीतबुद्धिर्महारम्भो मन्दतेजा बहुव्ययः ।
बहुस्त्रीभिः समं भोगो विधोः प्रत्यन्तरे शनौ ॥ ५२ ॥

52 Pratyantardasa of the MOON in the Antardasa of SATURN-Improvement in intelligence, comencement of lofty plans, impairment of brilliance, heavy expenditures, companionship of many lascivious women (sexual connections) etc.

तेजोहानिः पुत्रघातो वहिभीती रिपोर्भयम् ।
वातपित्तकृता पीडा कुजप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥ ५३ ॥
